HOLD ON TO GOD'S UNCHANGING TRUTH. | GOD IS THE UNSHAKEABLE FOUNDATION YOU SEEK. #matthew7
Welcome back my beautiful, intelligent gems! Join me for a car chit chat Bible study overview. This video was completely unplanned but after the replay, I decided to post it. The message touched me as I replayed it. The scripture I reference is coming from Matthew 7:24-27.
In this section of Matthew, God likens a wise man to some one who builds their house on solid ROCK. God likens a foolish man to someone who builds their house on SAND. God notes that the wise man is he who knows the commandments and abides by them. The foolish man is he who knows them and chooses not to follow them.

    Thank you for visiting our country and recognizing our growth. You may be unaware so I want to correct you, it is not the "Rwandan Genocide" it is the "Genocide against Tutsi", as Rwandans it is crucial to us that this understood and addressed properly. I encourage you to learn about our history by visiting the Gisozi Genocide Memorial in Kigali, ask the locals the reality of the aftermaths and watch movies/documentaries that were actually directed and produced by Rwandans like Shooting Dogs. I hope you enjoyed your time in our BEAUTIFUL country😇

      @@Nouuuu211 My companion and I absolutely loved it! One of the most beautiful countries I’ve been too so far! And thank you for that correction. The media notes the event as the Rwandan Genocide but it is beautiful to hear the correct title from a Rwandan. I definitely want to be as respectful as possible when addressing the horrific event. I’ll definitely look into the movie Shooting Dogs as well! Do you recommend any books about this written by Rwandans ? I did get a chance to visit two of the memorials which gave me more insight. I do have a question… outside of the museums, are locals open to discussing the history and effects ? I thought that people didn’t discuss it in public ? Please let me know your thoughts! Thank you again for your comment ❤️

      @@MightyIntellectual thank you for being so kind and interested in our country. To answer your questions, the reason why we refute the “Rwandan Genocide” terminology is because it negates the fact that the targets where Tutsis and contrary to most genocides in the world, both the victims and perpetrators were both Rwandans, so to call it the Rwandan Genocide would make no sense (I hope this makes sense😅). Additionally, yes we have so many authors, documentaries and movies about the Genocide against the Tutsi to name a few books: Left to tell by Immaculée Ilibagiza, Inside the Hotel Rwanda by Edouard Kayihura, From red earth by Denise Uwimana and machete season by Jean Hatzfield. Movies alongside shooting dogs are sometimes in April, The 600 (available on youtube) and The day God walked away. Lastly, yes the people are open to discuss their experiences, every April in Rwanda, we commemorate and victims tell their testimonies, as you can imagine it’s been less than 30 years and people’s wounds are still very open and even more so that like I said both Hutus and Tutsis were Rwandans so to restructure the country a lot of forgiveness had to be worked for both people to live together again hence why we don’t refer to anyone as part of a group anymore and only identify as Rwandans. If you talk to some people and they seem reserved, it’s only because of how heavy the history is but otherwise, we are very open to say the reality of what happened especially because the west (especially France and Belgium) has tried so much to deny the Genocide and push their own narrative because of their huge influence in what happened and the fact they did nothing to stop it until the RPA (current day RPF) ended the Genocide. I know this was very long to read but I hope I was able to provide more insight.

I also noticed that the foods that are supposedly 0 sugar, taste like they have sugar. So my question is why are we adding additional sugar to the food? Why doesn't this country want us to be at the least physically healthy?

    This really touched me because I’m in a season of wanting more but God is like “ u can’t even with hold what I already gave u “. The talents he has given me , I brush it off and yern for more !! I feel stuck kinda unsatisfied with life . Feeling like ppl around me are getting the blessing I “ deserve” but it’s like if your plate is too full there’s nothing he can add too because ur not grateful . Amen

    • @MightyIntellectual
      @MightyIntellectual Месяц назад

      Hey sis! I love that you mention gratefulness. A grateful heart is one that can be blessed with more! One thing I try to do when I find myself comparing my life to others is jotting down everything that I DO have and IS going well for me - down to the simplest things like I can see the wind blowing the trees. Spending time in nature and realizing that some people can't walk how you can, see as clear as you can etc. When we try to remind ourselves that the simple things are gifts from God, that helps the mood shift! Additionally, serving others in some way may be a great way to express gratitude and shift. Yes to he can't trust us with more if we aren't showing him we can properly steward over what we have right now. Taking inventory of our lives and jotting down what we have - that could be creative ideas we never act on, savings/new income coming in, natural talents that come easy to us like writing, dancing, building relationships with children, etc. - taking inventory of those things and figuring out if we have truly used those blessings to the best of our abilitiy. If the answer is NO, which it typically is lol there lies our work!!! MY PRAYER FOR US - God, please show us what we have that we are not using and/or stewarding to the best of our ability. Help us see what you see in us. Give us the ability to maximize this thing in this season so we can be prepared for more! Remind us that comparison is unfair because the blessings and callings you have for OUR lives are completely different from the next person. We are in different lanes. We can not compare what is incomparable. Amen!

    So when I hear this story, it always has a different interpretation every time. But the main thing I always understand from this parable is “TO MUCH IS GIVEN, MUCH IS REQUIRED”! Nd yes, your right. To Stewart your “talents” you do need faith.

    • @MightyIntellectual
      @MightyIntellectual Месяц назад

      When Travis Greene preaches he says "you got to read the Bible, then you got to READ the Bible" and man!!! That is a WORD. When you READ the Bible that second, third, fourth and fifth go round, I am certain New understanding takes place. If he is to trust us with more, we definitely have to steward over what has already been given. And sometimes (read: oftentimes) we get in our OWN way. Sometimes we need strength and discipline our flesh can't provide and that is where the faith and prayer comes in - God can you give me strength, discipline and new thought processes I can't necessarily give myself in this season? Thank you for tapping in! I enjoyed reading your thoughts :)

    To the man he gave one talent to when the scripture states “You knew that I reap where I have not sown”, what the Holy Spirit spoke to me was this. “I gave you life, you wasted it and threw it away, and expected to receive new life?” We as humans get entitled with God thinking because He created us and He loves us, that He’s obliged to give us everything we want. We must look at everything in perspective. If a natural parent gave their child everything they wanted, simply because that’s their child, we would look at them crazy! Same with our Heavenly Father. We are not promised eternal life, if we chose to destroy our temple and throw away the “talent” He’s given us.

    • @MightyIntellectual
      @MightyIntellectual Месяц назад

      Just WOW. "I gave you life - you wasted it and thew it away and expected to receive new life?" That was good! I love how you applied the scripture to our bodies/temples. That could also be a separate conversation!!!! He loves and forgives us but requires much of us at the same time. It is not enough to say "God will just forgive me." The comparison to our earthly parents was a great visual for me as well so thank you! If we can think of God as a parent, I think that will help many folks' understanding/making sense of what is going on in their lives. Thank you so much for sharing!

    Okay, so "giving" my child a paid off house wasn't my exact sentiment lol the more I think about it. I really just want my children to have a place to call HOME that is worry free that gives them a head start in life as they find themselves and deal with the world/becoming. However, when I leave this earth, I want to be able to pass intangible and tangible things down to them. One of the tangible being a home that can stay in the family for generations or be used as a tool rent FREE. Housing insecurity is a HUGE thing for many folks especially in this economy. There is freedom in owning your home. But y'all knew what I meant. 😜 Thanks for listening my beautiful, intelligent, resilient GEMS. I hope this video was helpful for someone. With Love, -Niadi E.
