Did you use the pin prick trick? It doesn’t work with normal cans if u don’t let the gas out first

I keep doing it very gentle but it fizzes and bubbles out the hole, any tips?

What would happen if you were to pin the can to let out the gas then simply pour the Guinness into a glass?

it' s indeed awful, the can i tried turned out to be brewed in France. The German brewed Perlenbacher is allright though

My other half can be fine one minute then bent over with pain the next then I have to call a ambulance 🚑 et cetera 1st thing they say to her have you been drinking with your condition and medication 💊 and she says yes and there not happy

The thing is tho mate my wife not well ever and she keeps drinking she’s got pancreatitis and she takes shit loads of meds in and out of hospital and she drinks and the doctors keep telling her we can give you all the medication in the world but if you drink alcohol regularly the drugs don’t work properly so she’s not getting better she’s had this problem now for about 5 years they keep saying to her stop the alcohol but she won’t so my Point is to you mate if you keep drinking you probably won’t get better ever and the meds you are on are probably a waste of time if you keep drinking

Really enjoyed this one Chris! Looks like you got a great consistency. I can handle reaper heat but still wouldn't say I enjoy their flavour! Excellent tip with freezing the coconut milk portions. I don't use it too often but am going to play around with that a bit, so thanks for the idea 🙂

Mate it was a priviledge to get a taste of this amazing curry, you were bang on, right up my street. I coudnlt liken it to anything else I've ever tasted but evry mouthful was a genuine delight. Having cooked with these chillis I though a whole one would render any meal inedible but this was the perfect blend of flavour and heat (for those that enjoy a good chilli kick) perfect winter warmer for lunch outdoors on a frosty day! thank you very much for saving me some!

Who wants all these gasses that we dont even know about........... Real cask ale rules with me. and guinness is not the same as it was origainally brewed at about 55 now. a handful of workers brew this compared to hundreds at st james brewery. not what it was.

Fantastic beer this Chris - I have a standard PD with a pot plugged in, so can set it between 1-10 degrees. I have the OP between 8-10 and it’s devine, such a nice, complex beer but very sessionable. As for the Jaipur, definitely put that in the Pro, 3 degrees will kill it. I’d set it around 8 degrees if you do - another brilliant beer and was my favourite before they stopped it a couple of years ago - got a keg in the garage to put in when I get some cans / bottles used up. Oh and there’s nothing wrong with the sound of a 1980’s Ford Escort 🤣 Cheers Chris

I had this back in 2020 and according to Untappd i quite liked it. I wonder if i'd think the same now? Even if the abv remains unchanged today.

Would love to see Lidl putting on other beer boxes throughout the year. Did enjoy their fest bier cans that were brilliant value . Enjoyed your review

I think brewers had to tighten their belts this year as for supermarkets sours have been ok for me well VC and the floc brew was nice and some others but not many anyway all the best to you and your family 👍
