Aerobic vs Anaerobic Cardio (Benefits and Drawbacks)
Great interview
I'm so glad I saw this. I just ordered the book from Amazon after seeing this. Cosgrove and her husband Alywyn are respected trainers and authors . I'm grateful to hear this interview.
Interesting discussion but I don’t feel like a got many exercise tips guess I need to research more
If it works who cares about credentials.
I have done enough research on photobiomodulation to know that this video is not very helpful. It’s not clear how the specialized (and, I’m sure, very expensive) devices used in this video are different from the panels and other devices one can buy, for one thing. My sense was that there was just enough information to tell you that it might be “good for you,” without telling you enough so that you could buy your own device and use it effectively without an expert to help you. I would suggest to viewers who are interested to go down the rabbit hole and research it. There is lots of scientific research to support the use of red and near infrared light panels, and the task is to figure out (a) whether a device is a good quality device (which is half the battle), (b) what kind of light you need to use to match your goals, and (c) how to get the right pattern of timing and dosage. You won’t find that info here, in my opinion.
No!! There are lots of stretches we can do that aren't connected (yoked!) to Hindu deities. Just sitting on the floor helps. This is so disappointing to see this promoted here.
Thats true but yin yoga is better for your specific body parts. I would give it a try
It's not a good idea to "give it a try" when it's basically worshipping demons. Each yoga pose represents a Hindu "deity". Investigate for yourself.
It might been for that in the beginning but now it’s healthy for you so even if you might think it’s for the demons it isn’t. It’s a pose to get your body healthy
You are misinformed. Do some research into what yoga is. There are better alternatives.
I'm a Yin yoga teacher and studio owner (with a hip replacement!). This is a nice interview which clearly shares the benefits of Yin Yoga. I encourage everyone to take at least one Yin class, just for the experience.
No one “wants to pay” for therapy? 😕
Nice interview!
Everything artificial is bad. Why do you want to eat something made in a lab. Aspartame in Coca-Cola and Pepsi causes heart attack, cancer and early dementia. Google it.
So could sleep apnea be a postural issue as well?
This is tremendously helpful to me since I have both a bunion and what I believe to be plantar faciosis in the same foot. I've always thought Nike's toe box to be too narrow for running, but my alternate still looks to be too narrow by Dr. McClanahan's recommendations, so thank you. I learned so much from this.
I was thinking to myself, “This guy! He puts thought into every single word that he utters.“ And the interviewer said, “that’s a lot of thought that you put into that answer.“ “Well, hopefully, that’s what we’re doing,“ the good doctor responds. Hopefully, yes, dear Dr. McGill. But realistically, no. You are nobility. As an intentional person who puts thought into everything he says, and does, I really appreciate you.
The big three isn’t helping with my pain
Dr.McGill mentioned smoking causes back pain or elevate back pain.. He meant probably for cigarettes smoking . Does smoking cannabis causes back pain as the cigarette smoking does ? So many people are smoking cannabis because everyone says its good for back pain. 😂
dudes a chiropractor... that explains it all ....not a neurologist at all
Do You Have Any Urine incontinence advice?
Question, I’m 71 in fairly good health. Do have shoulder issues right now(rotator cuff). I really would like to buy the sled, I see that it is 75 pounds unweighted. I’m just not sure if I can pull 75 pounds…yet. I still would like to get it, can you give me your thoughts on that?
Finally! An educated person who doesn't believe that medication and operations are the only options. Thank you for sharing.
Magnesium glycinate before bed works for me and no side effects
It's so apparent how personable passionate COMpassionate and knowledgeable Dr Bhar is!!!! Great information from him and topic!
Excellent interview. So helpful. Thank you.
Side effects of Levodopa sounds worse than the RL. Simple magnesium helps.
Magnesium I found it the cause of my legs problems
I am on Lyrica 225 each night before I sleep
Shame on you! Gabapentin is the DEVIL! Vitamins and minerals are the building blocks of the human body. Pharmaceuticals are not. The body isn't defedeficient in chemicals it needs nutrients. Avoid the meds all together, from personal experiences, they're nothing more than neurotoxins. Anti-inflammatory diet. A healthy lifestyle that respects healthy and balanced fresh food choices are all that is required for human beings to thrive. Decompression therapy ... elongation is key along with a strong core for a healthy spine. The human body has an amazing NATURAL ability to repair myelin and get nerves working properly again. Myelin is repaired or replaced by special cells in the brain called oligodendrocytes. These cells are made from a type of stem cell found in the brain, called oligodendrocyte precursor cells (OPCs). The research on myelin restoration is publicly available on Google and Google scholar and the New England journal of medicine.
Eating too many carbs at night always causes it for me, even though I have healthy normal blood readings.
I will talk to my Primary Dr today but I do not think she is very supportive of how I think.
Sounds interesting. I have severe arthritis and Osteoporosis. My right leg and right calf has not been working as well for three years and wondering if this would help me a bit better for strengthening? I use a walker at age 52. My Drs have not even done a Catscan or even a MRI yet to check the bones or muscle issue and want me on physical therapy. But I am trying to request those images before Physical therapy because I only got x rays and see if there is more detailed information on images. Thank you for your Pod Casts I love Pod Casts very informative for everyone! Oceanside Ca!
thanks. this goes with The video you and Brad did this morning. I am going to try the K TAPE on my hyperextended knee and my dropped foot. It can't hurt to try. Even if I only get a little improvement. It's OK
Thanks for this...I'm curious!
I will tell everyone about you!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ best doctor ever!!
It's best no to concentrate on losing weight ,but overall heath .carnivore regime ,some carbs .where is the problem??.
I would like to find these before a surgery
If you you want to go up a hill backwards, you could come down the hill frontwards until you get used to it!
18:43 gonna tell my lady she has wonderful mass anteriorally ( o ) ( o )
Thank you
I am doing keto. My Doc n i got iin fight about this last week. My bp lower, my fat is decreasing i would guess my insulin resistance is going down. We be testing again soon. I just wish Doc would look at natural methods not prescription medicines.
Wonder if LLT helps with Alzheimer's, TBI and multiple brain strokes? 🤔😯😥

Excellent video and great questions
Why is this guy listed as a chiropractor and neurologist in the description? His degree is in chiropractic, and neurologist implies a degree in medicine and further training in neurology. This is misleading at best.
You can learn more about his background here azchironeuro.com/meet-arizona-chiropractic-neurology-doctors#dr-trevor
@@bobbradpodcasts993 Looks like a lot of pseudoscience mixed in. Thanks
Great to see you Bob!
52:30
So sad lots of people are taking medication for weight loss instead of eating healthy
55:30
It is true. So many of my past physical therapy sessions were an inconvenience and a waste of my time, because so much of it could have been done at home by myself.
Again, your like button appears to be disabled. Same with previous video. Would love to give you a like, but not able to. Great commentary and balanced view. Thanks 😊
Thank you so much all. I’m in Oklahoma and not keen on doing remote therapy. Does anyone know of any in person specialists in Tulsa area? Thanks again ❤
Now 77, I worked at the University of Minnesota in the 70's & 80's. There was a old gentleman that daily walked backwards on the flat surface for a half hour. He said he was part of a paid study. I don't know the outcome, just know that he advocated for it and continued to get older......I've been doing it on and off ever since. The health club I belong to has a couple of unpowered treadmills with adjustable tension and a fixed incline. All good. I have no pain or mobility issues to date.
Hope for my Multiple Sclerosis
