You need to use the Zep Bleach sprayer for this stuff, it will melt any normal sprayer

Didn't have anything in the bed at this time. Just whatever random objects were in there. Which wasn't anything heavy. This truck had the bed removed shortly after this because it got T boned. I flatbed it & had 400lbs of sand bags on the bed & drove through a blizzard/state of emergency. With zero issues. Same brand tires.

@4.8Flatbed thanks. I know spme of my local car washes use some form of acidic touch free wheel cleaner, you can smell it when they spare it onto wheels covered in brake dust.
@potluckfishing that's concerning considering acid wheel cleaners should only be used on select wheels & is very very easy to go bad real fast.
Been using Maguire's professional wheel and tire I get the concentrate gallons and put it in my foam sprayer loved that stuff so far but just picked up a small bottle of the dark fury going to see what it does this weekend
I’ve been in the air about which to buy, let us know the best results of the two!! My guess is going to be (dark fury) but (meguiers) is always reliable!
Dark fury when used right is just a much more versatile product. I'll take my jeep out in the woods cover it in mud. Let it bake in the sun for a week, power wash it & then spray dark fury all over it & it completely melts all of the mud staining etc etc off the paint. I just am very cautious using it on black paint especially on a hot day. As it is very very strong & can flash quick. Incredible on white paint though.
@ read this right when you replied, spent ALL day getting my hands on some by driving around the city (Phoenix) gave it a go and MY goodness this stuff is truly superior, really can’t wait until my next white car detail, for field use!

@ironwolf_6559 turbo KA is definitely the most cost effective route IMO. There is enough knowledge on the internet with a basic walk through on how to reliably make a good amount of power. anything custom like this becomes a massive financial headache LOL

@Luxcarz just pop another ka in it man. These trucks are awesome. But unless you have tons of $, a very strong mechanical ability & a ton of tools. I wouldn't recommend a motor swap. I have another one of these trucks with over 300k miles.

what’s your exhaust setup? did you only do a muffler delete?
@robonlean cut the exhaust right in the middle. Did 2.5 inch from that point back. Made a y pipe just like factory was. Just no mufflers

Ain't no one playing 5k for an ls400 You can still get them under 1k. 2-3k for a straight body.
@Alex-vz2jz not in new England. They are much more attainable in the south /California as that is where they were marketed. 2-3kwill get you a 250k mile beat interior ls400 around me.
So when I purchased dark fury it didn't say to dilute. Am I supposed to? What's your take on it?
@vancat11 did you buy a bottle like this? Or a gallon? This is pre diluted already (personally I think they dilute it more than 4:1 in these pre made bottles) but unless you bought a gallon. The pre made bottles are RTU. Hope this helps.

Which J series engine is it?
Dark fury diluted a bit more like 1:6 used over the entire car pulls that stubborn greasy dirt off. If you have a ceramic coat, it's like adding a new layer because it cleans up the coating so much.

4:1 never full strength. You can go anywhere from 4:1 and up. Depending on condition

Both are too alkaline, I say this as a chemist and product manufacturer, over time it ruins the rim and, moreover, they cost a lot for what they are made of, so washing the surfaces doesn't go as well.

I agree at 4:1 (as recommended) but at 10:1 is what the pro detailers use it at and its safe at that dilution.

An even better secret is you can buy this in gallon jugs. Pour it into a 5 gallon bucket. Add 4 more gallons of water. And you now have 5 gallons of this pre made 🤝

@BoofyBoyo it's tough just have to price yourself to where you will get work but also make money. Until you build up a clientele. Let your work speak for itself. I get people who question my prices. And I also get people who don't even ask what I'm going to charge them. Detailing is a luxury.

Dark fury is extremely alkaline. Completely opposite of an acid. It's Completely safe on paint (as long as it's cool & doesn't dry.

@@TXAslingr honestly I’ve used dark fury, formula spray wax, cherry soap, wash wax soap, green all, zap it, their bug cleaner can’t remember the name - aqua glosss - to be honest the only thing I didn’t like was cover all their tire dressing

You can get it a ORiley’s they sell them in different sizes. Really good product tho but depending on how caked on the break dust is you will have to scrub it.
