You really should have no problem, this truck weighs under 3klbs. I had like 250lbs in the bed. Toss a few sand bags in trunk for some more weight over those rear tires. You won't be disappointed. Been RWD + Snow for 8 years
@@4.8Flatbed 10/18 date code, never felt a new winter tire but they don't feel hard like old all seasons I've felt. They feel closer to newer all seasons, like my michelin crossclimates
@@MetalAnimeGuy they stay very soft when the temperature increases. Unlike a summer tire which would get very hard in the cold. When it's warm oustide they get very very gummy. As if they very little air in them (I mean like (60-70°) Doesn't seem to old. I think you'll be fine! Definitely keep up on this I'm interested in your experience
Didn't have anything in the bed at this time. Just whatever random objects were in there. Which wasn't anything heavy. This truck had the bed removed shortly after this because it got T boned. I flatbed it & had 400lbs of sand bags on the bed & drove through a blizzard/state of emergency. With zero issues. Same brand tires.
Damn just literally shows that drive trains don't matter as long as you got good tires especially snow tires.
100%
Got these bad boys today. I don’t even get half that much snow so should be good to go.
For sure!!! Great tires. Still goin strong for me
How are they?
I have these tires on a srt4 but mine are studded hoping they do good this winter even though I have almost new ground clearance
These are also studded! Just put mine on actually. Preparing the shitbox for winter haha. They will do wonders!
@@4.8Flatbed was 4wd or fwd?
@@joepearlzz8504 this is 2wd!
How were they without studs?
@@4.8Flatbed ground clearance helps too I guess.. either way they look good
Gonna try these on my E46 hoping for the best

@@4.8Flatbed that’s great to know. I’ll just put my summers in the trunk for the winter
@@Fanta.Fokse. come back and lmk what you think of them.
@@4.8Flatbed will do!
we use it on BTR in rusha, now nordman 8 may be
Hope they will be good for me, found a set for $80 at a junkyard.
As long as they aren't to old! Check the date code. Winter tires should be very soft. If they are hard they are not any good.

@@4.8Flatbed they do great, but could be better.
Not much softer than my michelin crossclimate.
Does great in hardpack and ice, deep snow it's rough.
Gonna try these on my 09 VW rabbit lol
Should be great. Especially being fwd!
How much weight on the bed though? Asking modestly, no to offend
