I know that there are item options that bypass others such as the crossbow and the ubersaw, but in addition to making you sick of playing with just one style of play, it will make you more predictable for the opposing team. Syringe guns may not be very strong weapons for utility, but they are strong at keeping you alive once you learn how to use them. The crossbow only has a utilitarian function, it makes you more vulnerable to scouts and spies, please don't listen to these people who are slaves to the ''meta'', team fortress is not a competitive game in essence, play to have fun.

Extra tip I found useful as a Medic: Flash Healing. Flash Healing is a technique I came up with where whenever I use any Medigun, I start rapidly switching heal targets in order to offset damage if there is incoming fire. I've found this more useful with Stock and the Quick Fix, because they prioritize defense and healing over Uber building and resistances I also found Flash Healing useful for when there are two heal targets getting attacked at once and I have no time to build up Overheal. I've prevented a lot of deaths and saved a lot of people's asses with this method, even if the Uber building from it is lackluster as opposed to building max Overheal.

I used to only heal important classes like soldier and demo, but I found out recently that its totally viable to heal everyone. Scouts make you faster, so you can easily get to the frontline or dodge projectiles. Overhealing a sniper is a great way for them to easily take out the enemy sniper without getting instakilled. Im sure there's more examples, but thats all I've found out so far.

A great strat I tried was having me and a friend both use amputator taunts and keeping consistent heals while standing on the cart this broken strait paired with a 2:1 power class to others was extremely strong on maps like frontier, upward and borneo

I main pyro. I think he is at his strongest as a support class, like a bodyguard for medics and engineers, protecting from spam, spies and stuffing ubers. To be honest it can sometimes get boring, but engies and medics sometimes thank me and that feels good. I prefer to DM with dragons fury it's a lot more fun of a play style but usually other power classes do more damage without as much risk. Absolutely love the rare occasions when I get ubered with dragons fury into the enemy team and a sentry nest. The biggest problem with pyro flames is that you can't see through them, this makes targeting a W M1 pyro harder. But to be honest a pyro using only this strat is still very exposed and you can usually see him coming so if you don't run away or spam him out it's mostly on you if you die. My biggest problem with scorch shot is double hit on one direct flare that can 1 shot light classes with afterburn, in my opinion it should not be better than a flare gun at direct hits. Overall a pyro is a class with a confused philosophy but I still enjoy playing him.

My personal tip is pocketing is ok but just dont forget others u have crossbow to do quick help sometimes not overhealing everyone costs life of 6 enemy gamers (but dont forget that burning sniper standing right in front of u they can save your ass)

Great video, know it's a bit old but still good.I always make sure I have spies fully overheal before they make it to mid/first point just to help them survive if they get found out quickly. If I pick medic at the start of the round I'll typically stay medic for the whole game. If I pick any other class I usually hop around. I really do enjoy playing medic

5:00 you get much more ubers you can give all the ubercharges to your lovely pocket imagine the rest of the team is free uber is not that hard people XD dont get angry if they spam you MEDIC see them as free uber and if you need to abandon that player just run away

Number one is already impossible ngl I honestly hate having to shape up my team so that they don’t do something stupid whilst I’m with them like the “eating my sandwich when my medic is right fucking there” I can’t seem to enjoy shaping them up so I’m mostly on the quick-fix defending my self meanwhile all my teammates do is waste my Uber and all the good teammates are busy playing spy and sniper so I can’t really utilise it all that much but yeah anger is sorta necessary for your team to listen I’ve realised.

Because teammates aren't always reliable for protection in Casual, I mostly use the Amputator for the increased self-healing rate when fleeing. In my experience, it really makes a difference, especially if you use it while next to a dispenser or after being healed (Not fully) by another source. I only really use the taunt when I'm within range of several teammates and behind some sort of cover. The Amputator has always been a go-to for me because I make use of its benefits way more often than I would with the Ubersaw. I rarely find myself in situations that my melee weapon could get me out of, and even if I can land a few hits or kill one of the enemies, the likelihood of that happening in any case just isn't enough to warrant using it. The decreased melee damage can also be a pain, but I never feel particularly disadvantaged by it. It's still a melee attack. Still a last-resort option.
