I had a question regarding the adoption part of the discussion. If a family were to adopt a child and change their last name to their family name, would this be haram like how Allah is telling us in the ayah? Or is Allah saying that the haram part is just to say that this child is the son of so and the use of a family name as the child's surname would be different? I was thinking about it for awhile and I can see how it could still be problematic for a son to be adopted have his surname changed and then his future children would also be known by that surname. Hope that makes sense, jazakAllahu khair! :)

Could it also be that Suleman AS angrily or restlessly said that he was gonns kill the bird? Like some people often say "Im gonna kill you!" and they dont say it literally. Or should we abstain from thinking such that, prophets would say such figurative hyperboles?
