Dr Saqib......I'm truly impressed with you and ever so thankful for these Quranic Divine sessions. I've been closely following each episode with your dedicated students. You transcend calmness with your humility and calm nature in explaining the Book of Allah. I feel closeness and have immensely benefited with these episodes. Praying that Allah grants you health and a long life to continue this Divine journey till the next Ramadhan Inshallah.....Ameen!
Ayah 44 of Surah Al Anam scares me the most. This is the greatest way of Allah SWT for testing us. Sometimes people and nations who are non religious and even those who pretend to be religious gets wordly wealth and luxuries in abundance and they think that Allah SWT is blessing them but in reality HE is testing them and leave them clueless untill they die or get punished first in this world and then in here after. May Allah SWT help us to cross check our situations and give us correct understanding of our status and role whether we are rich or poor. Jazak Allah kher
12:00 How can we understand "Travel through the earth and see what fate befell those who rejected the truth," is it both literal and spiritual in meaning?
Literally it means to go and visit different places to find out what happened there, but it would also apply to other ways of finding out that information indirectly. The way the Quran instructs us is to not rely just on second- or third-hand reports but to do whatever we need to be sure for ourselves and take the lesson.
JazakAllah khair for the great video! I was wondering, in ayah 91 when Allah talks about the Jews, the translation says- "...which you have made into separate sheets, showing some but hiding many". What does it mean by separate sheets?
This refers to how the leaders of the Jews would break up the scripture, putting aside whatever was inconvenient to their desires, and hiding it from view of those who would ask them the ruling of the religion. So the description is given here in terms of a physical act of dividing it up. Interestingly, the Torah is nowadays presented as a scroll..
❤I am so very thankful for this series❤
May Allah increase your love and connection with His Book 🤲
A blessed gathering. Very beneficial platform to ponder upon the ayahs of the Quran. JazakAllahu khairan
May Allah accept from all of us 🤲
