The bread made in the bread machine looks smoother because you only kneaded it for 5 minutes in the stand mixer, you should have done 10 minutes. You can see in the video when you are rolling it into a ball that the top was tearing.

FYI, I've been using a bread machine for over 40 years, I've actually burned them up. But I have found that if you proof your yeast with the water and 1 tsp. of sugar for about 5 to 7 minutes. Then add the proof yeast mixture to your bread machine pan, then add any other liquids, then the dry. I have a better dough and I use only the dough cycle because I like to bake my bread in pullman pans I have a large and small pullman. Thanks for your video.

I also watched another lady make this. She used a minimal amount of water. Then spread the potatoes out & pressed them down in a dish. About 1/2 inch thick. Ran a knife thru them to cut into cubes. Then put in the freezer. After some time in the freezer, she took them out. Popped them out like ice cubes, into her bowl & proceeded from there. I tried it the way you did & i loved it. But if you wanted it chunky, the freezer method may be the way to go. Personally, i Loved how quick & easy your way is. And so surprisingly Good. ❤

My mom make fried green tomatoes all the time in the summer. I lived in the city growing up and people would look at my mom weird when she asked if they had green tomatoes for sell. Hiiii Cathy!!! I for the life of me do not know why I didn't get the notification for this video 😭 My husband loves picked eggs. They don't look or sound appealing to me. I do however love pork cube cutlets. We just had them for lunch a couple days ago. And I'm with you. I like the pork a lot better than the beef ones. How old is Carter now? I bet he's gotten so big. I did mock pineapple this year. I did mine as tidbits. I had a little left that was not enough for a jar. I ended eating it for a snack. It was very good and really does taste like pineapple. Am definitely adding to my list to make more next year.

Really that long loaf doesn’t look completely baked, it’s very pale. I think because it’s a larger amount of dough, it needs more baking time. The small loaf looks delicious ❤
