I would love more videos like this! ❤ You've just helped me make breakfast, fold laundry, make the bed, water my plants, sort out clothes that need mending, eat breakfast, pack away the big batch of breakfast for the coming days, and oiled my cutting board + putting things away so I can clean. All while inspiring me to work more on my renovations. ❤ I watched this video when it came out but searched for it specifically today to help me body double for all the things I ran around doing (it was about as straightforward as when you wanted to put the laundry in the machine 😂). I really enjoy your other videos as well but I want to watch them and then it is hard to do other stuff except knitting at the same time and boy do I have a lot of other things to do. I just had my 80th birthday. Watching you brought back so many happy memories. When I got married at 18 we had a few things given to us for furnishing our first college apartment. We had a bed and dresser and an old wooden chair and a daybed. The rest we thrifted or made from wood parts and glass other people were giving away or throwing away. We had a large round piece of wood so we added legs and painted it a medium red and used it as a game table in front of the grey day bed. We found a table and chairs at a second hand store...and so on and so forth. Eventually, we had all the necessities and made some large artwork for the walls. We were very happy to recieve the compliments we were given by everyone who visited us. Thank you for bringing back all those memories for us and increasing our faith in the creativity and cleverness of younger generations.

To that background thing: I love falling asleep to You Tube, but worry I’ll miss liking a video that streamed when I was asleep. So, when I wake up to channels i am subscribed to, I hit the back button, and hit like as far back as it goes to help my You Tubers. I think it takes so little time to be conscientious. I did see above your head windows, the windows looked dark, so you weren't filming the rooms. The manager should know who/whomever registers in the hotel, I guess she wasn't paying attention

Thought this was an intriguing way to make fabric specific for a final project when you first posted it. Thank you for the introduction. I recently found “Marion’s World” on RUclips. Like you, she isn’t afraid to jump into a craft that’s new to her and try to figure out how it’s done. And she gets excited and inspired to try anything new that might catche her eye. She even carved a needle out of a pruned piece of wood (though you might use a potential perfect fetch stick) for nalbinding and used it for her project. Just thought it might be a site you’d enjoy exploring in all of that free time you have . Whoops of laughter! Keep exploring and keep sharing! Best wishes.

I admire your dedication, and you have inspired me. Most of my furniture is second hand, mostly from family, and it does the job, but I'm stuck in the section where -- even 4 years later -- it doesn't really feel like MINE. And I think that's because I haven't done anything to MAKE it mine. There's nothing of me in it. But I can paint some of my furniture and reupholster my dining chairs and maybe make some cushion covers, and start to transform what I've got the way you have and make it a bit nicer than it is, and a bit more mine as well. Thank you.

I was very impressed with the living room table & the ladder shelf. You have quite a talent & I think you could open a shop with items like these! I guess I am watching this because I did not have a lot of money also & got some secondhand pieces for my house that I worked on. If you remove the paint of a bookshelf or whatever, sometimes there is wood with a wonderful grain underneath. Also, have you thought about cutting off the sides of the tablecloth into just a round circle & see how it looks?

dunno if anyone has suggested it (and it's been three months), but my solution to the "clothes that don't need washing" pile is a vertical ladder a little way out from the wall. It takes up very little space, and I can use coat hangers to air things out & keep them from getting crumpled up.
