I remember how back in the first DotA times "meepo trainer" was the only way to play meepo somewhat comfortably

Arc Warden isn't as hard as people think. It seems everyone forgets Morphling here. Call me crazy, but I would put Morph even above Meepo. Also, I would place Invoker lower on the list. I don't think it's a particularly hard hero to play; it's just muscle memory. Io is spot on, as well as Rubick. Chen is a hard hero to play, but so is Enchantress. Also, not to forget, I would place spirits somewhere on the list; every spirit is hard to master, especially Brewmaster. Honorable mentions include Oracle and Visage.

This is why dota is dying they kept making ut harder and harder

I cannot believe how accurate this build is to mine, i am an ancient gm invoker and had been losing far too many games. Last week i decided to change my build and get rid off midas and started going for agnostic exort invoker. Had a 100% lane win record since and 75% game win. I say accurate to mine because i too started going for orchid or mage slayer depending on the opponents, with late game being aghs and refresh/oct depending on whether i have a stun locks for cata if i decide refresher and oct if the opponents are tanky and i need to be cycling through my spells more than once. The only thing I might be doing differently is still going for boots of travel instead of treads ( i tried treads too but BOTs let you split push/gank/farm and has a higher presence output than the treads) There was only this 1 game that i dominated mid so hard that i decided to go for midas as a selfish act to experiment and by the mid game the sf closed in on my level so midas is absolutely not worth it anymore.

Ive found against OD if you're playing any bottle hero you just trade very aggressive lvl 1 since OD doesn't buy bottle. OD also doesn't go meteor hammer anymore so you can just leave lane lvl 5 and flash farm jungle since OD doesn't pressure tower or can steal your stacked jungle

there will be some players going to comments here and saying this is low rank, most dota players nowadays only care about rank and forgetting enjoying dota, they just don't know that many people have life and don't have enough time to grind rank 😢

Your a sick invo, and I know what I’m seeing 1500 games or more invo alone. but let’s get real a good OD makes the best invo player spend 400+ gold alone on consumables just to fight and even then it feels unplayable. His imprisonment needs a nerf or just a full rework, give home like movement speed or a just like void but MUCH SHORTER

you can stomp od with voker - esp shitty OD'S. need bracer + null - skill wex at 6 and hit with full tornado combo. OD nerfed with no meme hammer build. no regen much harder to sustain constant harass from voker with buffs. wraith band doesnt really matter not going to be gaining as much dmg and you will scale with exort. Harass to half hp by level 6 and combo = instawin also you can make stacks with your spirit in losing lanes. then you can gigafarm the stacks with meatball and alacrity.

you should try treads gleipnir rush with wex exort build.

Invoker feels decent, yes, I too have been playing the agnostic mainly. Did not know about the double spell amp. Most lanes with agnostic felt good, but I usually went Midas and that might have been a mistake as I lost quite a few games. My problems were mainly, that a) enemies are picking these heroes that can easily get on top of you and kill you now, like DK and CK. Find it so hard to play against that, might have been easier skipping the midas. Thing is, DK also destroyed me in lane, even with agnostic facet, that hero is absolutely op now...any Tipps on how to play that match up?

last patch I had hard time in early stage cz of CD, the cd is longer and require wex to shorten it, I can do up to 3 spell but have to sacrifice the quas like I only have 1 forge, so its harder to laning. On late game it goes well plus I love octarine on invo, and all my cd is very good. and now patch facet is like back to the good of old invo/ the good of new invo, so it will always good.

They fixed the Elitist Facet now. It no longer gives double spell amp. Now it only applies spell amp to targets you actually hit first. Overall feels like a huge nerf to the previous patch's export effect.

I personally go null talisman into witch blade and then Gank get blink and then I make space

About the agnostic i c no different in the exort damge like its actually doesnt work

And its ridiculous that the most aoe spell hero a magical hero depends on hits auper weak the elitist aame version but much more weak
