Been playing with friend after like 11-13 years hiatus (stoped playing dota (in general) when dota 2 came out.) Still after 70 games or so, I still get surprised when hero X does something way different from what I remember. Talk about a shock xD .
Long time player but I think dota needs more content like this aimed at beginners, its an ever changing game so there's always a need for new content. pretty much any beginner content made during the old map is obsolete for example. Good job :)
Thanks for making this video. I'd really love to play Dota again, but it also feels like a lot of the hundreds of hours I spent learning this game are completely wasted now. There's SO MUCH new stuff to learn that it feels like a different game. I'm not quite sure if it's worth it and if I've got the time to actually start from scratch again. Especially the new map layout feels _so incredibly_ foreign, almost everything I learned about laning and tactics and timings and so on doesn't apply here anymore. And there's even more _new_ stuff to learn *in addition* to all the _old_ stuff that's become obsolete.
im just starting dota2, and im confused mainly on lane sustain and item management, if you coul dplease touch on those things id love that too. also common counters to things like invis among other things, and their implementations.
I could possibly make a video along the lines of ''dota 2 - the absolute basics''. Might be a little while though as it would take a long time to make probably. But if when you load into a game you check you load a guide, these are quite useful in terms of suggesting item purchases and such. Otherwise, if you are looking at lane sustain in terms of ''should I buy extra hp regen?'' - if you are a support, the answer is yes (and share with the carry). If you are the carry, you could ask your support to help with it, but at a low skill bracket they might just tell you to shut up, but in that case I would also bring a hp salve or set of tangos too :) Staying in lane and not risking being at low hp is usually worth the small gold investment. As for countering invisibility units, buy the sentry wards (blue ones) to keep an area safe, then use dust of appearance if you plan to chase down someone with invisibility as it sticks to them for a while!
Coming back to Dota after quiting in 2017... Wow! I barely recognize this game LOL.
Yep, just got SH*T on by my group. big mistake, should've watched this video before doing that. oops.
last i play roshan was in the middle near the dire mid tower😅

Why is trilane not a thing anymore? I played from like 2013-2014
Thanks for the update coming back after 7years
Could have mentioned bounty runes and early game skrimish that is now meta. Other than that a great re-introduction. Great Work!
Exactly what I needed. Ty

What dors denying do now? Does it deny exp, do you gain exp? Or both?
It just denies xp and gold from the enemy :)

can someone help me, why my guide not pop out when i press the select?? only default guide that i can use now :(
I would probably play dota again if they did like a classic mode. Played back in the day when it was simple
Haven't played since 2013... should I go back. I've played dota 1 longer lol
Last time i played Riki was 24*7 invisible 😂
Very helpful
Wait what is that tree thingy at the side of the skills
Ah you been away AGES! haha - it is a talent tree, all heroes get to pick talents at certain levels that affect their stats / abilities :)
You get talents at lvl 10/15/20/25
Also jungling is dead ? Why?
I miss old dotes
I wanna play but the game feels dead, there is no one playing on Jpn server
Last time i played dota2 is 2018. Not familiar in this new map.
5 and a half years since I left dota 2. I don't understand shit
I had about the same break when I came back. You will pick it back up :p
Yo please make an updated version 🙏
I just played a bot game and thought they got rid of Roshan lol
Coming back after 4 years....what even is this game lol
