SA) and I want to know which scale type should I use in the SmartPLS 4 (Metric, Ordinal, or Categorical)?

Greetings! Thank you very much for such a valuable session. I have a few queries regarding PLS 4. 1. I have a model with a moderator and mediator, and I am checking the moderator effect on the path between the exogenous and endogenous (mediator) constructs at high and low levels as per my study hypothesis. My query is can I check the moderator effect at +1 and -1 SD in the PLS-SEM extension tool (PROCESS), or do I simply need to report the beta value which I get from PLS-SEM bootstrapping? As PLS-SEM do not give us beta value at +1 and -1 SD, we can only get these values from conditional direct effect in the PROCESS tool. 2. I am also treating my demographics as control variables. My query is whether I need to report control variables results by running PLS-SEM bootstrapping to check control variables’ confounding effects on the endogenous constructs as we did earlier in PLS 3, or I need to report control variables results by running it in the PROCESS tool within PLS-SEM? As control variables within PLS-SEM have different values as compared to PROCESS tool values within PLS-SEM. Need kind guidance. Regards

One of the variables (reflective-first order) after experiencing a reduction in loading factors etc. from the beginning there are 5 indicators only 1 indicator remains ... Is it permitted this happens? If yes, is there any literary basis that states this? 2. How to solve if the HTMT value is greater than 0.9? 3. Is there an effect of the number of samples and the total number of items on the success of data processing using second-order method SEM PLS? The number of samples in my study was 55 organizational analysis units and 5 variables with 81 items. 4. Is it still necessary to check the normality of the data related to question no 3? 5. If the model in my question number 3 is processed using a second-order and it fails (does not pass the measurement model), what should I do? Is it permissible to process it using the first order? In my model the variable on which I have classified my data in two groups is accreditation and that is secobdary data. Rest all are primary data. Can I run multigroup analysis on that?

Hello, thank you for the videos. I have a question. After MGA of two "age" groups (70 cases vs 50 cases), I realized that there is a "great" difference between the p-values of each group shown in the "Bootstrapping Results" tab (such as 0,038 vs 0,380). However, in the MGA tabs (PLS-MGA, Parametric Test and Welch-Satterthwait Test) there is no indication that shows a significant difference (less than 0,05 and greater than 0,95). In addition, there are some differences between the parametric and nonparametric MGA results. What's the best way to evaluate these results? Thank you!

Hello, I ran Discriminant validity analysis by following the video. And, all correlations are below HTMT(.80) and only one correlation is in between HTMT(.90 and .80). Can I report it as "I have chosen the HTMT criterion in terms of specificity level of HTMT(.90), and therefore discriminant validity is established"?
