Добавлен 17 июл 2012
FLA Labs is a creative place to explore 3D Printing, Micro Controllers, PCB design, and much more! I like to keep myself busy with projects and share the results here. If you have cool project ideas, share them with me and maybe I will make a video about them!
Follow on Instagram @FLA_Labs for more information and feel free to DM me project ideas!
Favorite my Etsy Shop because sometimes I sell my projects there!
Software:
I use Fusion360 for CAD modeling, Da Vinci Resolve for video editing, Creality, and Chitubox for 3D print slicing, and Ki CAD for circuit design/PCB layout.
Materials:
I use Arduino and Adafruit for most of my electronics, DigiKey for components, Matter Hackers (and others) for Filament and Resins, and JLC PCB for PCB prototype manufacturing.

Drop the music. Super distracting
excellent work, on both the sign, and the video!! gj
Thanks so much!
Does the Xtool laser really cut acrylic like that? looks flame polished! Beautiful.
Sure does! I sped up the video to make it more interesting to watch, but the xTool P2 is a beast!
How much was the gas & what else did u buy???
I pay about $65 per balloon for the hydrogen lifting gas. I bought the cameras as well but made pretty much everything else!
You didn't put the prices of each item on the video??? Why??? How much did everything cost???
Most everything was custom but here is some of the pricing. Let me know if you want more specifics! - hydrogen $60 per tank - 80g latex balloon $90 - run cam camera $140 each - spot GPS $140 each
Magnifique ❤ j’aime
Nothing says amateur more than playing background music while you are talking. You do not do this in real life, so why do you include this distraction in your video?
Because I AM an amature! Thanks for the feedback. Always looking to improve!
Thank you fla labs
amazing. im not a expert but do you think its possible for you to get something launched into LEO like go to spacex and ask them, would that work? might be expensive tho😅
Absolutely! It's called ride-share and it's possible but difficult and expensive!
@@FLALabs I just looked it up 300k. Yeah that's a bit much😅
Dude , dont tell me you just did that . Respect+++++
We sure did! What a fun/challenging project!
awesome tutorial... i was gonna try and figure it out on my own, but i'm sure your method will save me alot of headaches
For the bolts, it doesn't look like you used supports. Prusa slicer is complaining saying I need them but here goes nothing!
❤❤
Nice video, however, the title says something different, I expected you send a real satalite into space, like sending it to Leo orbit and all the other details that comes with it and how to dispose it and so on.
Followed this tutorial, everything went smoothly, leaf printed nicely and it is articulated indeed :) nice job
❤
What LED strip you are using? having a amazon link?
This is what I used: www.amazon.com/Lamomo-Flexible-Waterproof-Silicone-Decoration/dp/B08SHZZ45X
That’s nice brother but you slipped the design part! I’m sure everyone wants to see how you went about making the cuts for the 6m leds.
ABBA….👏👏👏….❤️🤍💙
If she was doing that by herself yes then u could say that...
Thanks!
Is there anyway to get it to stop “ascending” and get it to stay hovering at a certain altitude? A system like that in place could be incredible, almost like some super low satellite.
Absolutely! Some "zero pressure balloons" let out just enough lifting gas to stay buoyant and remain aloft for weeks!
This is so unbelievably cool. How did I just find this channel. 🤯 brilliant young man
I'm glad you found us and that you liked our video! Subscribe and share with a friend to help us grow!
Cool
Put some sort of bracing under it will lead to a better cut on the end of the profile cut when it falls it cuts a taper on the end and corner that hasn’t fell 👍🏻
Yeah, I think that would be wise. I did it this way to avoid burn marks where the honeycomb (or slats) contact the material where it's cut, but watching it flex down during the last cut made me nervous!
that's a perfect birthday gift ❤
Very cool!
I think that was super cool! Also Ai Image design is a cool use of the world wide web!
Thanks!
What do you think of this project? Let me know below!
The folded stell looks good
Honestly was my favorite knife until the folder with screwdriver.
Yeah! The FastBack 6-in-1 is awesome!
Moi je l’aime beaucoup je le porte tous les jours sur moi en edc travail maison extérieur il quitte plus la poche h24 ! ( petit discret ) Milwaukee ❤
The perfect EDC!
@@FLALabsoui petit budget je l’aime ! ❤ Je veux bien un couteau personnaliser au laser aussi c’est vraiment beau 😊
super misleading i was expecting you to get atleast close the the karman line i dont know ill use a balloon on mine but i want to achive orbit and have it burn up on rentry i hope i can stream some of the data as its burning up with a VERY simple thermo shield that wont protect much of anything at all but might allow me to transmit a few seconds of footage and data and i enter the atmosphere
Yeah, you can't get anywhere near space with a balloon. You'd need a balloon and a rocket (or just a rocket). We were only shooting for near-space!
@@FLALabs of course im planning to use a 3 stage methalox boosters and the balloon is just to get me up to height
@@FLALabs hopefully i will be able to show off my methalox rocket when its built
@bankshot9985 I'd love to see it!
@@FLALabs thank you i hope i can deliver
where did you have to go to get Captain Corn Cob back? He looker like he enjoyed the whole trip.
He made it all the way to Peck, Michigan!
i want to sent my satelite - I am a hamradio operator.
I've always wanted to become a ham radio operator!
@@FLALabs I absolutely love being a hamradio operator! A satellite can be heard almost worldwide with low transmission power, and I'd be thrilled to launch one, especially if it could stay in a geostationary orbit. I'll explore what's available here in Brazil that matches what you suggested in the video. I’ll also try to document the entire process. It's an honor to know you!
Has more brains then the one now
Why not just but a necktie like that
Mine's cooler than a store-bought tie 😎
@@FLALabs plastic is less comfortable than cloth
@LILSh0rtie that sure is true! This thing pinches like a crab!
It was a great video, I liked it but I have a few questions, I would be very happy if you could answer them 1- How many volts did you use for the LED 2- How many volts is the battery and how many hours does the LED light up 3- How is the battery charged Thank you in advance
Hey there Gorengokhan35! That battery holder has 8-AA batteries inside for 12V to match the LED strip. I didn't test the runtime be fore donating it to an auction fundraiser, so I can't answer that one for you. In this case, I didn't use rechargeable batteries, but they could be easily swapped for the rechargeable version! Thanks for the comment!
@@FLALabs Thank you very much you helped me a lot
Nice👍
Thanks ✌
Very cool!
So grateful for accurate GPS and the drone!
What a fun video! Love that Captain Corn Cob made it in one piece!
Love the corn cam!
Thank-you for this! I have wanted to find out how to make my own, finding a tutorial I could follow was my challenge. 2 years later, still helping people :)
Glad tou found the tutorial! Be sure to like and subscribe so we can continue making content!
I can't find the spacing option. How do I get this
NVM, for anyone looking, you need to make sure to be in full screen
So are you able to make a tutorial on HOW you made it in fusion 360?
Do i get a fidget toy i guess? 😂
@adamfosfi691 email me at flalabs2021@gmail.com and I will hook you up!
Hey, rather than make a new tutorial, here is a REALLY GOOD one that I used as a reference for this project. The only things that will differ are my use of bearings and the backplate that I created for my version. Hope this helps! ruclips.net/video/B8A_11o7QZ0/видео.html
So uhh... how do you get the wires in there? It's wireless? xD
Question: what was the distance from your launch site and landing site? How long you had to drive? I appreciate your answer in advance thank you so much!
Typically we travel 80 or so miles and the drive time to find it is about 1.5 hours!
Step one get / have a 3D printer. . . 🫤
