Well, looks like i'll have to find out by trying it out myself, and if it doesn't work i'm uninstalling it right away. Or it just might be a placebo effect that people are saying it gives you "better latency" or it fixes "stuttering" etc.

Nvidia are pure liars and they treat their clients very badly. Frame gen should be enabled for everyone. They lied like that for years and years, with similar stuff, remember when Crytek locked 'very high" the option to anyone not having the latest Nvidia card? It could be enabled manually in the game options, but they said it was basically impossible already. Can't believe no one ever says it. I was pretty sure since years already that frame gen was a scam. Now we know it was. NEED to buy a 2000 dollars graphics card to have more optimized games, huh?

I had already these files... And the interface is completely broken. Such, such, such, a great shame. Shame on Nvidia, mostly. I was just hoping for some fix, well, there are none. It's a shame... I was gonna replay the game, but I won't I was so happy I was so sure it would work, I had already incredible results with various versions of those files that are around on Red Dead 2, Cyberpunk, Alan Wake 2, and Ghost of Tsushima (yeah, it's the real official implementation in the options, it's awesome). basically X2 frame. But what a surprise and a great disappointment that the files won't work without breaking all the interface, and no one among 8 billions human beings managed to produce not even one fix that's not hidden behind a paywall or something... We have such FREE AWESOME TECH that can just literally optimize the way games are rendered or everyone and somehow the world has become so broken that outside like a few people that even know this is a thing, there's nothing.

You could also try to create some guides for Special K, lots of frame capping options + tons of other features such as forcing Nvidia Reflex and HDR, or adding black frame insertion for blur reduction. When it comes to performance comparison videos, it would have been interesting to see whether there is a difference between a DRM-free version of a given game (e.g. from GOG) versus Steam version versus Steam version with Steam disabled (e.g. using Goldberg Steam emulator).

So this would be less than 1% difference in average fps, and just over a 1% difference in recorded minimums? Excluding potential edge cases-such as lower end PCs that constantly push their CPU to it's limits potentially being impacted more-it seems to amount to an imperceptibly small boost in performance, such that retaining the benefits from defender is surely worth more. Got an i5 11300h even after following your guide I am unable to adjust my cpu’s core voltages though it has allowed me to change turbo ratio limits is there any thing else I can do to change my cpu’s core voltages.

You are just great THANK YOU!! Did this on a Aorus 15G XC and it worked like a charm. Only difference here was that there is no Secure Boot option in the BIOS, instead you need to choose "Delete all secure boot variables". Then it works.

For those who cant seem to get the step working at: setup_var CpuSetup (or Setup) "0xyour own id" I did this setup_var_3 "0xyour own id for CFG Lock or Overclocking Lock" 0x0 Press enter This should be able to find and change your value now from 0x1 to 0x0 Hope this helps

hey man did you find a way to undervolt on a 12th gen cpu?

I have limited the turbo clocks from 3.7ghz to 2.5ghz and the temps are much better now, around 68C max, but I don't understand why my laptop lowers my clocks to 1.1ghz sometimes? I can really feel the dip in FPS when playing games. I don't see it being an thermal issue, but the looks like it's doing that...from 2.5ghz to 1.1ghz and after 1min back to 2.5ghz....
