I have a question about the start up procedure. I am used to a chevy 350 and I pump it 3 times and it fires every time. I now have a 1952 Dodge with a 218. How many times should I pump it as to not flood it?

2600*6=15,600. Assuming you would then need to divide by 4 if it's a 4 stroke engine. So 3900 sparks per minute using this example - 65 sparks a second.
