Esther had that whole family pegged. Tom would destroy himself and bankrupt his whole family. Arthur is a buffoon and Sidney was very unstable and unreliable. Charlotte should have heeded her warning. Even the sister was a moron. Poor Mary. Charlotte did a damn site better in S3 than the ridiculous Parker’s. Mr. Stringer would have been a far better choice than Sidney. What a horrible man. He should have left her alone. A 32 yo damaged man going after a young thing almost half his age.

I wish we could buy the UK version in the states!

I am still mad! I did not watch the other seasons. I found the unfinished novel by Jane Austen and another woman, which had a Jane Austen ending. How dare Davies et al put Jane Austen’s name to this costume drama! She wrote six books and they all had the same ending. Sanditon was not Jane Austen. As Theo Whatever says that he could not do a second season, Davies et al could have added a couple of more episodes, and had the ending that Austen intended.

I wish Sydney and Charlotte could have married. I don’t think Colburn ever has the passion that Sydney and Charlotte had. I was mad that they didn’t at least let Sydney kiss Charlotte good bye on the cliff.

Beautiful season 1. Beautiful and perfect couple Sidney and Charlotte. Theo James portrayed Sidney Parker perfectly. He was Sidney Parker. A huge disappointment what the screenwriters did with it in the so-called sequel. For me, #Sanditon will always just be #Sidlotte and Season 1.

I couldn t get used to Sanditon without Theo James, it was as if the core was missing! Such a shame he didn t return, so much chemistry!
