The width of the side pieces must be a State secret. No one wants to tell.
No no no, never use nails. Drill, screw, & glue dowels with grain oriented in the correct direction. Then trim them and light sand!
well said, Thanks
Those things bet be careful. That deer will eat em
NO they are partners, Mother Nature working together...plus deer are not carnivors, plant eaters!! but I get what you are saying!!
00:53 "went to American Standard and bought this one"! No need to buy a seal. American Standard will ship one to you for free. All you need to do is call and give them the approximate date you installed the toilet it and model number off on the label found inside the tank.
Good to know..I did not know that, they made me buy it
@@Backyardprojectguy In my original comment I should have included the caveat "providing its still under warranty". In regards to the Champion 4 the warranty states: American Standard Champion Cadet 4 toilet comes with a lifetime warranty on chinaware, a 10-year warranty on all mechanical parts" I told the customer rep I removed the tank during my quest to find the leak so along with the flapper seal... they even sent me a new tank to bowl gasket all at no charge!
Interesting..My was almost 20 years old..so I'm not sure I would of Qualified..But thanks for getting back to us
Nice and clear.
Thanks and I hope it helped ypu too
Great video. Could you let me know why you needed risers? Couldn't you just paint the vertical surfaces after cutting the original bulnoses? It seems that with the treads you've installed, they would have covered the top of the vertical planes where you had most of the staple holes. Than you.
Just want to make the steps look better, as part of us wanting to do the basement over.
The bottom step is going to be too high because of the new tread over the old tread. The top step is going to be less. It will be a tripping hazard.
Thank you king, I owe you my life
So glad to hear that it could help you

Great Machine, and YES you must take care of it. Nice work with this
Just did mine with genuine Symmons parts, and hot water only comes out warm.. reinstalled the old valve and same thing.. Got any ideas on what could be wrong? I adjusted the hot water screw stop all the way out and no change after I reinstalled the new valve again.
Are you able to pull the value back out and back it off a little.
@@Backyardprojectguy I took out the Amazon parts I'd just installed and replaced them with genuine Symmons parts and the problem was resolved. turns out the Amazon part has had some bad reviews for the same issue. Thank you!

That looks nothiing like the bulb I got. but mine is for a 2008 I guess. it's nothing like that. That's got a big black plastic thing there. Totally different from the bulbs they gave me at O'Reilly Auto Parts. The bulbs they gave me are just metal. I don't know if they will work. Where do I find out why they are different?
are your Bulbs H-11, check your manual for the bulbs you will need.
