I was surfing at Wilderness in late1984 and a nice Puerto Rican kid paddled out with the Slater brothers, they were all fun to surf with. I’m sure Kelly was surfing good and Sean was really good I remember.. I was 19 at the time and am guessing Kelly was maybe 14ish. Went back again, discovered Pavones after that and that was the go to after that.

This looks like I would need to wear protective gear and a helmet against human attacks. I have tried surfing out and love it but this is actually the one point I am critical if I should even get in with so much gate keeping, agressive behaviour.
