its Mist not fog and its when warm air with water vapour (humid air) meets cooler air, the sun hasn't warmed up those air pockets so the vapour becomes visable .... bit like your breath on a cold day, your kettle boiling, chucking water on the heater in a sauna

Fair play for giving it a go! I've got a KTM 790 Adventure, and I'm a novice off roader too! It's a lot lighter than the BMW, pulls well at low revs. I tried a T7, but, too tall, too revvy for me. They like to rev! Just a couple of ideas. Lots of videos of the KTM, on my channel

I bought a Scram 411 in September last year as a returner biker. It gets me to some silly places and my god your heart's in your mouth sometimes, but you can put both feet down and the power is soft. It gets me around Asturias N.Spain, up goat tracks, rutted concrete tracks and muddy wash outs!!! Beware, It's addictive!! And when you get back on the main roads, they are actually well maintained in comparison!!

Why not just ride at the speed limit and then you don't have to worry about fines? Off road rocks though.

Great video Brian, as always. Road riding has been ruined I think, speed cameras and average speed cameras everywhere....roads are a mess (hence my damaged rim) and the price of insurance etc going through the roof. Hate it, but mine is my only source of transport so I'm stuck commuting every day.

I’ve always been a road rider,8 years ago I bought an enduro bike for laning and love it. Last March I bought a 1090r for adventures,camping,laning and it’s brilliant fun mixing the two types of riding,road and lanes. You don’t ride as fast on the roads because of the tyres etc (nobblies) try it mate you’ll love it 😎👍🛵

I love those kinds of days-on your own, with great weather, amazing roads, exploring new places, and stopping wherever and for however long you want. Absolutely perfect.

I agree that off road and trails are probably the best way to have fun on a bike without getting a letter in the post telling you to pay up. I plan to do something similar, hopefully this year and try a bit of trail riding. I`m aware it probably wont scratch the itch that makes me want to twist the throttle though lol! 🤣

Some fantastic roads in Wales. Your lucky to have them on your doorstep (Says me based in Scotland - lol) I've ridden that hill at 14mins, in the opposite direction. Big bit of graffiti on the rock.

Spot on mate exactly why I’ve gone down in power and stuck to slower bikes (himi 411) I’m sick of constantly having to have one eye on the speedo all the time. Speed vans literally around every corner in the Midlands. It’s not just the fine then it’s the insurance increases that go with the points. I feel the same way mate. Infuriating. They are taking any aspects of fun and free will off us at an alarming rate
