Well done on getting on Brewtime with Bruce. As for vlog setups, don't think anyone does what Carol +I do. Cheap laptop microphones in the helmets connected into two Rode senders. Rode receiver linked into an Insta 360 x2 for the 360 shots & joint audio. We then use 2 DJI Action 3s on the helmets. Action 4 and DJI microphones for all off bike filming Just use what works for you
Good advice to stick with what you're happy with. I'm just waiting to see what the new Action 5 is like, if it's not a massive step up I'll be getting the 4 to pair with my Mic 2. I've got the Ace Pro as well, but would happily swap that for another 4 or 5. The DJI remote is already sat in the basket waiting to be joined by a 5 or 4😁😁
Very interesting to see your setup, thanks for sharing. As you say good to stick to what you know and are used to. For me that's one camera (Go Pro12) simple plugged in mike job done. Certainly if your doing bigger better productions such as you do you need that kit. Cheers
I’d go for the Cardo system mate It’s on a mesh signal so it’s very clear and uses each set to bounce to the back of the group if you ride in a group also on the app you can record the conversations also so brilliant idea
I'm still on a 1 camera set up.. I will be going DJI at some point but while the old is still working I'll stick with it. What do you set the dB level at for the helmet mic?
Great set up you have Brian 👌

And as you know that prob 60% of the problem finding your own set up that works
