Violin. Sorry I had to delete my video from 2005 of Shaham playing the Sibelius. It's not like you can see it anywhere else, or buy it from PBS. Sometimes copyright holders get too hung up on I, me, me, mine. As far as I know, my recording was the only one you could actually see. I thought it was good advertising for Shaham. I never made a dime from it. What are they worried about if they are not selling it??

Amazing performance of this marvellous composition by Nicolo Paganini. A fast paced piece performed to perfection. She certainly will have a successful career. Hard work made to look easy.

she makes a lot of exaggerated tempo changes, but Williams and the orchestra are absolutely spot on, with her every single time. and of course her playing is freaky good, almost inhuman

I have performed this and know it very well. I am also quite familiar with most recordings of this. Her playing cannot be matched by anyone. This is the best!!! She is the real deal!!!! I would love to have a student who will listen to me in order to play like this!!!! If only they would practice correctly and follow my advice.

There is so much shit in the world today and yet there is this. She is not only beautiful but the most amazing talent too. She grabs my heart with her music!
This video has suffered some degradation since I first uploaded it in 2008. I don't know why, since it's all digital. When I first uploaded in 2008, it matched the DVD I had made from the original VCR tape. I can't re-do it since I no longer have equipment. So it is as it is, but it's only half the quality that it was. My apologies.
RUclips probably recompressed it to save server space, or converted it to a different digital format, which always causes a drop in quality.
@@magnetiktrax Thank you. That must be the case, since when it was first uploaded, the audio and video were much sharper. Perhaps I can find the original CD I made from the tape in 2008, in my storage locker; but it's been years, so it would be like treasure if I were able to find it (I've lost, or discarded so much) - and the reason it was uploaded in 3 parts in 2008, was because RUclips, at the time, could not accept a concerto-size upload.

I would like to know if there is anyone that confirm or deny that Leila attended a Masterclass in Tanglewood where Itzac Pearlman was the instructor. The legend is that when Mr. Pearlman heard her play on the first day he said; "You need a better fiddle". He then gave her the loan of a Stradivarius.
How does the orchestra and the desk read their music in such darkness? Great performance, one of my favorites

I've watched so many times this performance over the years that I've come to know by heart the comments in the end. They also add something in the legend of that video in my opinion
