I know this is an old video. But very useful. Here is a big-time saver.. open your glove box fully, and you will see a gray harness on the passenger side wall. Mine had a Ford sticker, bl3t 14334. You can tap into all three wires at the plug.

good video my avic z110bt the nav was a full screen somehow it was reduced to 1/3 an to the right I press on the smaller screen it reverts to full screen what can I adjust to have it stay at full screen. also do these radios have on/off buttoms?

Rear speaker output. U can choose 2 options, rear and subwoofer. Pls explain what each does. This option can only be changed when hesd unit is off.

I always crossed my speakers like this. I like to cross my front speakers to 63hz, rear speakers 80, and sun at 80 as well. The reason is because my rear always has bass because of the bass so I want more voice in the back and in the front I have them at 63 to bring the bass to the front.

I can't see to find the setting for turning off the rear speakers. I see where I can turn off the subwoofer but the option for the rear speakers doesn't seem to be there, any suggestions?

This guy is absolutely hilarious, however he does a great job explaining crossover settings!!!!!!

I got my amp replaced yesterday, they changed the settings and all my favorite songs sound way different. Some sound much better while others were very muted. I noticed one of the guys gave me custom eq settings which were nice but when I switched back to flat or vocal the sound was very muted and bass heavy. Tried everything but couldn’t figure out for the life of me how it had changed so much. Will be giving it another shot today with this video, I’m confident I can find a balance between their tuning and what it was like when it was first installed.

you said the box was for siriusXM? I have it on my 2008 f150 xlt extended cab. I swore it was an external amplifier. also the unit that was in my truck did not have controls for Sirius unless it was considered fm2 channel but I doubt it.

Regarding the wiring diagram in the box for the brake pedal, is it still required to wire to the brake pedal if one is using this procedure in the video to bypass the brake safety feature on a 8500NEX? Can the speed sensor wire and GPS also be wired as suggested with no side effects allowing the full capacity of the unit to work? And the bypass feature in the video allowing the unit features to work even when rolling down the road?

I can't get my sub to put out any bass. I hear the amp turn off(through the sub) when I turn the car off. Any help would be greatly appreciated 🙏
