I don't think she uses the killing curse on Bellatrix. That would defeat the purpose of the character. I think she used some kind of expansion , explosion or desintegrating spell and that in conjuction with the spell Bellatrix already was under created that effect. We know that the 3 forbidden curses don't make bodies disappear. There's plenty of deadly spells in HP that aren't deadly curses. The distintion is if a spell can be countered or not. Deadly curses can't be countered. Other spells can. The fact that she has to immobilize Bealltrix points to the fact that she didn't use a deadly curse, she had to take Bellatrix'ss ability to counter her spell first, something she wouldn't need to do if she was going to use a deadly curse.

This tragic arc does suit the character of Nagini very well in my opinion. I find it much better than if she would have been a evil witch instead who became more powerful in her animal form - always evil, never changing. Instead it was a curse, something she was full aware of, and it always lured in her like an untreatable cancer. It adds so much more to her story.

The part of this film that speaks about the lack of worldbuilding, I think Rowling had already a huge part of her worldbuilding done before writing the first book, and added more on top of it as the years went by while she wrote more books. It might very well be that she didn't deemed it necessary to expand the scope of her world beyond what was seen in the books and related content. I am speculating here though, but this is what I think applies to other franchises as well when someone catches a hole or an incontinuity in its related worldbuilding.

Of course Dumbledore wanted to have Harry raised by the Dursley's without Harry knowing of his fame so he would grow up humble (one of Harry's traits I personally admire him the most for). At this time Dumbledore had his fair share of experience of a younger Tom Riddle many decades before this and fame can do something with a young boy, especially if he has no frame of reference to a so called normal life. I doubt if Dumbledore knew Harry would be so mistreated to the point of utter child neglect. It's the complete opposite of the spectrum and I wonder what Dumbledore would have done if he knew Harry would be raised this way.

Idk why most fans think of Bellatrix as of a mad witch, if we don’t take Helena’s performance. In the books, she was nothing like that. She was arrogant, sadistic, a bit impatient, but crazy? Where? When? Also, I think she didn’t have kids because she prioritized the war or simply rejected her husband. As a powerful witch and Voldemort’s best lieutenant, she could have the power to be the boss in their family. Plus, she was in love with Voldemort, so why should she sleep with Rodolphus? But I’d like to thank you for mentioning Voldemort’s feelings about her death and closing eyes on her failures. She was clearly special to him and that makes both Bellatrix and Voldemort more complex characters than just ‘evil wizards’.
