If I remember correctly it had 1 wire going to it but was a 3 pin sensor.

it shows the new sensor in the video and how many prongs it has in it 3:41 I thought it showed that in the video, did you watch the video?

Not sure I understand what you are saying.

It just has a couple of bolts holding the EGR on. I always take that stuff off and put the EGR plates on the back and tune out EGR.

What size wrench or socket do I need to use to get it off? I tried the switch socket and it’s too short, also looked up about it and only found that using a 1/2 drive 1-16th regular socket might work.

@joshuarickerson7893 it will only line up with the oil pump drive 2 ways, turn motor over with light pressure on the gear, it will fall into place when the oil pump drive lines up with it.

I’ll give it a try . If the drive fails on the slot but the housing is not seating all the way does that mean the gears are not in sync

@@joshuarickerson7893 the gear will sync a few different ways but that slot will only go in 2 ways, they never drop straight in unless you are really lucky, I always have to turn the motor over a little to get them to drop all the way down

It ran for a while before I noticed it (weeks). And I just changed the oil, as long as the issue is fixed the rest will evaporate.

Thanks for your reply, I'm having the same issue. Engine ran for a total of 2 minutes. I'm wondering if I should take the main and rod bearings and clean them?

@@Aiden2447 We refreshed the engine later and the bearings where fine. We just changed the oil which got most of the water out and from the engine temps the rest evaporated and all was fine and like I said we drove and raced it with water in the oil.

@T.JBoydRacing Heater hoses are not the issue, I assure you. No way a 1400 CFM fan will keep that engine cool. I discussed blocking the heater hoses and the work around for that a few videos ago and that information is spot on, gauranteed.

The SBC had 2 fans on it, they where both 1400 CFM for a total of 2800 CFM. V8 engines need around 3000 CFM. We could only fit one of those fans on the new radiator so it only has 1400 CFM, I did not think that would be enough BUT this is a double pass radiator so I thought I would try anyway. My 5.3 has two 2000 CFM for a total of 4000 CFM. It stays cool no matter what. We ordered a single 3000 CFM fan for this one, I am sure that will fix the issue.

The axle, the carrier, or the pinion?

The outside axle ends closest to the brakes.

@@blueeyez383 I did the Chevy ends that hold the Ford bearing. I forget part number but I am pretty sure it is in some of my past videos.

@@blueeyez383 and before I had the stock axles welded to the 8.8, so I just used stock axle bearings for my car

I did not, now that I think about it, it only does it under WOT under boost. I got the catch on it now, maybe too much pressure was getting in crank case, and I changed the seal on the oil pick up, the one that came with the pan was not true round, it was oblong. Going to test those changes this weekend.

@@CarportGarageDragRacing sorry I meant trans brake button. Essentially I am trying to add my 2 step to my trans brake button but my trans brake is 12v and my 2 step is ground activated. I can’t ground activate the SSR because it stays positive once I release the button. It kills the 2 step but the trans brake is still active.

@JustinFowlerRacing run one side of the Transbrake solenoid straight to 12v and have the relay control the ground for the solenoid and 2 step?

Then you can control the relay with ground or power, your choice

@@CarportGarageDragRacing unfortunately it’s a 1 wire trans brake. Solenoid is grounded inside the transmission

boost references power valves open at certain boost levels and let more fuel in

@T.JBoydRacing you can tune it for any pressure you want but you don't want to go too low. Most injectors are rated at 39-43 psi
