Thank you for very clear description of the modes. It has worked really great with the Manual settings. Unfortunately I have lost the functionality of the battery charging since the latest software upgrade. CPU:4.22.39 DSP1:1.13.2405 DSP2:2.19.2000 Three phase storing 2.3.3 . The battery can be charged by sun through the Monitoring software but not charged by the grid. Case is sent to Solar Edge but still no feedback about the issue. Any one else having similar issues?

My wifi password was changed and the wifi dongle would not flash red so I can set it up again, it is green . What should be done here?

I have a question for you that I know of others would like the answer too. I have a hybrid 5kw solar set up, and as normal all systems have limitations, my PV is set up at 133% but the panels are split over two different roof areas, I have a large battery pack (30Kw) and the inverter givens me 3000 watt to run the house and once the batteries are full any extra power generated is going back into the grid. pretty standard set up. the question is, I often am putting 4500+/- watt back into the grid, I also have a solar diverter that put some of the grid feed power I generate into heating a large amount of water, SO in a power cut the legal set up required shuts off the grid tie output which is good for safety to the protect anyone working on the grid or you feeding power into other houses. so as I have a lot of power I am generating that is going back into the grid, in a power cut, clearly the first thing to do is switch the mains fuse off, disconnecting the house from the grid, how can to then trick the hybrid inverter into powering up the line you would have had connecting to the grid so I can use this extra power to heater the water and is this output self limiting its output for once the water is at temp and turns the elements off. regards Martin

I've recently learned that when the battery is set to force charge, then the kwh that are imported during these times aren't included within the load consumption total import calculations on the ShinePhone app. Although it is shown on the Power/Energy usage chart when the battery is force charging these kwh are not included within the load consumption as imported energy. This causes discrepancies between the Shinephone app and smart meter readings which will show much higher electricity usage imported from the grid.

Can’t you see how individual solar panels are performing? For example, if one panel is defective, can you see this in the app?

Hi, do you have any tips on how to set up Growatt spf 6000 ES plus to work in the next mode? NO PV. I have a DIY 16s 280AH battery that is not communicating with the invertor, and I use USE2 in battery type. I want to charge the battery starting at 00 and end at 06:59 and discharge it during all other hours. Do you have any tips on how to do that?

I have growatt SPH 10KTL3 Hybrid inverter. No matter what I do i cannot change the settings of the inverter thru Shinephone App. Everything thing else runs normal. The grid voltage at times gets high and I am unable to adjust the voltage thru shine phone app. Also cannot find any option on the inverter to change the grid voltage limits. I am planning to change the inverter.

I've entered the logger serial number but when I click on it I do not get the screen shown at 1:59. I get Device Parameters and Architecture but nothing that allows access to WiFi details.

SOFAR inverter wifi dongle is just BS. Shows random data and does absolutely nothing. What a load of e waste

Hi, I got solar panels with a growatt battery, and Octopus Energy is my electric provider. I have recently noticed that the Imported and Exported reading indicated in my ShinePhone app is different from the Octopus app, particularly the Imported amount is over 50% greater than that shown in my ShinePhone app. Have you come across this issue before from others?

hi there - trying to set up my pv system using the SPH6000 inverter and batteries which i have installed myself recently. I have tried and failed to be able to see the inverter and all the generated info on both the shine wifi-X app and the PC dashboard...both of which i have registered with and set up my USB dongle for. You are clearly very knowledgeable with this kit so could you please advise when you can? Basically i am trying to replicate what i've watched in this excellent video. Many thanks!!

Hi, I have a question. I've tried unsuccessfully to reconnect my dataloggers to a new Wifi. If I choose to reconnect via standart mode I must create new Wifi 2,4 GHz first and then connect the datalogger. Should itbe possible to open and use ShinePhone through my usual Wifi connection, or do I have to open the app every time only through the new 2,4 GHz Wifi?
