I just got my hands on the ZT 0006 and I have to say I am very impressed, the fit and finish is basicly perfect and it feels incredibly nice in the hand. As other have said the handle appears to be not very ergonomic and basic, however in the hand it actually feels very nice due to the champering and texturing of the G10, and is very easy to index. In my opinion it a great aesthetically pleasing all-rounder that should be fairly proficient in almost any reasonable application.

Looks great if only we go to around 14" instead of 18" then the heat shield and everything would come together just right. You stayed within the law so still a great job 👍 ATF would be pleased 😊

i got the 2021 Limited edition, #51 of 500, its legit perfect in every way, i only use it to open packages and eat steak but it could handle anything i throw at it without a doubt. most solid and fine quality feeling knife ive ever had. worth the $500 i paid for it cause ima have it for the rest of my life, and its even a joy just to take it out and admire the craftsmanship of it. 🔥

why didn't you tighten the jam nut on the stock with a spanner wrench or put any loctite on the side saddle screws.....not sure how the red dot works as I had a red dot on my HK53a3 back in the day that let you view thru it....a CompM...that one you have looks like a bb gun toy...how does it work?

Thank you for your honest review and for letting us know about the red loctite. I have never taken any of my 80+ knives apart. But I only use them as gentlemen folders so no need to. But I do carry a knife daily. I was considering buying one but always considered them overpriced. After your review, I think I'll pass. I own three SOG Seal XR knives and really love this beast of a knife. A good alternative to the 06. Check it out.

Frankly, the laser is still a useful option for aiming for someone like me because I'm legally blind in my left eye. So I cannot effectively aim or shoot left handed. Having a laser is the only alternative aiming option for me.

I got issued mine for a 2007 deployment to Iraq. Used and abused for the past 17 years. No problems whatsoever. Btw I noticed some differences between your knife and mine, so maybe the ones they're selling today might be slight variants of what was made in '06.
