vLC Console Record by Eternal (256433) Arc Support DD
Wasn't planning on raiding again this summer but glad we got the team back together for the new trial. This was our Trifecta run for 'The Unstoppable' title and we happened to get a fairly solid time on the run for a new console record by almost 2 minutes. We spent a little under a month progressing. I did a decent amount of testing with this build and it was pretty fun even though I died many times attempting to pull off bombs. I'm not claiming that this build is OP by any means but it is pretty satisfying/funny when it works. Very solid run overall with only a couple small time losses throughout for a big console record by over 2 minutes. This score was achieved during the Necrom patch. Solid run overall but we lost a lot of time on second boss by getting an extra reefheart channel and lost over 20s on last boss from not neried skipping deaths. Explain to me why people say nb is struggling in PVE lol
When people say that they are referring to nightblade as a trial dps. It's quite weak relative to other classes in trials because it has very little AoE and is the hardest class to play at a high level. In arenas and dungeons nightblade is one of the best options though
Why dawnbreaker (directional, 2 sec stun) instead of Soul Tether (4 sec stun, similar dot+heal) ? For the FG passive?
Soul tether doesn't hit as hard mainly. Everyone is a vamp in pvp so it's technically more damage than tether. Tether works fine as well though

I was trying to get it to work in MidyearMayhem, with limited success - but rewatching your videos I realized that I was playing it wrong, and the directionality of the Dawnbreaker plays into your burst - I tend to try and get in the middle, so that ST hits everyone, but this seems to make it more likely you'll not try and get in the middle (and die).
its always the guards that help bombers get those vd proc's. damn you npc fodder! i prefer my stam dw heavy att ganks. nothing more fun then making a horse conga line scared of passing a route

We spent the first couple weeks in dreadsail figuring out what strats we wanted to do then a couple more weeks to pop the score. But everyone in the group had a lot of experience in the trial before we went in as a team

Nice video, gonna try something similar myself. What do you think about Leeching plate? Going to run Voidpull (vatashran s+b), leeching plate body, balorg and orders/gormand frontbar on a khajiit. Push crit dmg. You think that’ll work?
I think a tanky race is best for this build since you have to sacrifice a lot of resistances in order to get the damage up. Leeching would be ok but I really like livewire because it heals you and debuffs enemies

Whorl weapons. And run as many medium pieces you can without having sustain issues. Would just recommend 2 medium 5 light to start then change it based on how it feels for you
