    Really liking what you guys are putting out. Question though. On the release, with the straightening of the right arm, I tend to fat a lot of shots that way. Club face is nice and stable though. I have better luck with feeling a release more like the lead hand twisting. Club face is iffy though. Any tips to help me not hit fat? I notice you don't have many videos on address/setup.

    • @claws_effect
      @claws_effect Месяц назад

      Great Question! Bc you are driving the palm at the inside part of the ball this naturally creates a rotational effect that we call the "claw gear effect". This gear effect happens when the trailing arm stays pinned underneath the lead and the arm straightens properly from pre-post impact while keeping the cup. I will do a short on this for you!

    Sorry have to disagree. Grips of all the greats have varied as much as their swings. Its all about the matchup, your hand eye coordination, athleticism, strength, balance and club head and club awareness.100% of all amateurs would be better off stretching, strength training (especially the wrists forearms, core and legs. Imagine if you were Ben Hogan or Johnny Miller? You would not have won a single major with this grip advice!

    • @claws_effect
      @claws_effect 2 месяца назад

      Grip styles change, but the best players apply the pressure to the handle the same way, and this is whatunlocks mobility and control. Lead thumb is all about stability and creating the spring effect.

It was so good that l didn't dig l picked the ball clean, inside-out approach, and smacked the bee gees out of the ball with a slight draw. l was hitting my 7 iron about 200 yards and that is not normal. How good was it? 3 different people came to me and complimented my swing and how l hit the ball. l told them it was the first time l tried the strong grip. 90% of amateurs would improve dramatically with a strong grip. I struggled for years with a so called neutral grip. Fluctuated between 15-18 handicap for years. Went on a Scottish golf holiday, was struggling and went to a pro at a club. First thing he did was change my grip to a very strong 4 knuckle grip, initially i struggled but after about 20 balls noticed lower flight and more distance. Stuck with it within 6 months i was single figure handicap and got as low as 3.2 I'm now 70 still playing to single figures. Agree with everything in this video
