Flair Legionaire - Restoration/Conversion/Flight
So I pick this Flair Legionaire last summer and after some restoration and conversion, got it flying this winter. Now I always like to get a video of a model before I sell one of my personal projects and this model IS NOW FOR SALE.

Sooooo, you may have seen my previous video where I flew the Airworld Me-262 but had not finished it. Well, she's been 95% done since the winter but recently I put the finished touches when I added the pilot and cockpit. So as promised here's a flight with the model fully complete. Would you recommend this plane for a newbie? Thanks for the demo and you are an amazing pilot! You really should check for icing on the wings as that is one of the main reasons for airplanes crashing. (Just kidding with you, bro.)

I saw the new paint scheme on this plane on Essential RC, looks and sounds spectacular! If you have a minute, how did you determine the 75% power rpm maximum? I guess what I'm asking is what data did you use to limit your power to 75%. Would love to know so I can use the same data points to determine mine on a similar electric build. @@LOSCABOSLIFE hi, thanks. Very simply I just put the end point of my throttle from 100% at full throttle to 75% instead. Therefore in theory I reduced my power by 25% at full throttle.

Hello Stuart I found and built that kit and I did convert it to electric however I haven't had any luck now seeing your video I'm going to give it a go so there's a cg point on the drawing which it does balance I'm just curious what was your cg point for your aircraft because I haven't had any luck thank you in advance larry

Perfect flight, fabulous job preparing the aircraft. The flight power seemed spot on. As a JR then Spektrum user since the beginning I am interested in any comments you may wish to share regarding your Fr Sky Terranis TX and related systems. I heard just today that Fr Sky has it's origins with Turnigy?
I use to use Spektrum but lost too many models to single loss. 10+ years on FRsky now and not as much as a glitch.

I’m so glad they re-released this plane. One of my absolute favorites. Not to mention priced VERY fairly.
Well that is just about as good as it gets! A fantastic model flown to perfection, not sure about the weather conditions though, the engine sounds really good, none of that high pitch scream which does not fit in with a beautiful model like this. I look forward to watching more of your videos, many thanks for posting! Chris B.
