Love your personal channel as well Stuart...always look forward to you posting here. Was that a Sopwith Pup I saw?? We will have a video on one of those on our channel soon as well! I really like this Yak...very different. You made some excellent improvements.
Just found your channel Stewart, can’t wait to maiden my Reno version- I’ll balance the prop and spinner as you warned… fantastic videos as I’ve been binge watching your channel, lol
Excellent video my friend, and what a beautiful plane!!! Lovin both of the schemes, however I to love a war bird, so glad to see you and this great sized plane tearing up the skys, thanks so much for all the great work!!!👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼
Nice little extra review, I of course like the Warbird version the best, only thing if I could make a wish is to have the higher kV version available for the Warbird one as well, i like the sound better on that one . Easy to swap anyway I guess 😁 lovely bird either way 👍👍 Look forward to the PUP flying, such a great iconic plane..
had the taft version and she flew great!, will be buying this camo version when we can get them delivered to the uk!... another great review Stuart!.. like your flying style!...
Hopefully we’ll be able to offer at least shipping from EU to the UK in the new year. The logistics team are trying to find a solution and know it’s an urgent issue.
Hey Chris, thanks yeah she sounds OK, the Racer one is even better sounding though ;). I have a Du-Bro balance that can balance spinners as well as props.
Hi Stuart have good xmas. Stuart I'm getting Seagull yak 54 90 size 63 inch about 10lb model thinking of getting turnigy rotomax 1.20 with 8s 5000 think be good set up?
Can you please explain how you measured CG? I know that manual says 110 to 115mm, but where from should it be measured? The leading edge is not a straight line.
Hello, measure from the center of the wing where it sits with the fuselage, or to put it another way, measure along the join of the wings (center), from the leading edge at the center here.
@@stuartwarnerc I measured from there. and then it does not match the image on the user manual. I put the CG there on the first flight and it was very heavy. It is now 4 cm ahead of the 110-115. I extended the nose of the machine 5 cm so that the battery could go forward. 6S 5000 mah.905 g. If it flies well I will put up a youtube link. Blue sky :)
Some of the official hobbyking ones, to be honest they are so annoying I have stopped watching them, however after watching this I decided to look and it was you again and I liked it. the stupid tips ones were really annoying. Waste of my time. Especially the stupid one minute one of a stupid warehouse and a forklift and judging by the comments they annoyed a lot of people with that one. Your videos are a lot better. No offence but the hobbyking videos are, depending on who does it, are not very good imo. I’m no longer subscribed to hobbyking videos.
Well done Stuart, you’ve transformed that Yak 11 into a superb machine. The colour scheme is really nice, it wears that camouflage so well. The Reno version looks stunning too, thanks to the classic lines of that Soviet warbird. I’m always impressed by your flying skills, you make it look so easy with such smooth takeoffs and landings. I’ll wait eagerly and patiently to see what you bring to the airfield in your next video.
Hello and thank you very much for your kind words, glad you like the model. I've actually been trying to shoot a video of my 1/4 Pup I brought over from the UK this summer, but since Oct its been mostly wind and rain here in NL! So it might still be a while until a new video is up.

I want one. Will have to wait after Christmas ☃️🎄

Definitely a good looking bird!
Great video Stuart, beautiful plane and excellent flying.
Welcome back :-)
Nice amount of speed for its size. This is too big for me though. I would love to see the Funfighter models re-released. Especially the Rarebear.

That's great.

Good to see you again Stuart. At least you didn’t have to dive into a lake this time 😂
14 metre wing span … amazing 😂🙃
Great video Stuart, loved it 👍
Great job Stuart, sweet bird!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you George.
Real nice indeed Stuart 😎
Ohh I'm getting one!!
Nice upgrades, great scheme. Was a great flight Stuart, sounded cool as well. One thing, how do you balance a Spinner, never done that.
Hey Chris, thanks yeah she sounds OK, the Racer one is even better sounding though ;). I have a Du-Bro balance that can balance spinners as well as props.
@@stuartwarnerc I have to look into that, thanks Stuart. Hope you well 👍🏻
Any idea if the UK wharehouse will ever open again. I'm still waiting on an order from October.
Fingers crossed.

Hi Lee sorry for the late reply. Yes I think for that model your 8s setup would work very well.

Hi, do you know if this landing gear can be retrofitted on the earlier version?
Hi, it can.
Hi Stuart Can i use the oleo struts and retract to the taff version
Yes that would be possible.
@@stuartwarnerc thankyou
Which transmitter are you using? Thanks!
Radiomaster T16
I guess Tom de Weerd is your camera man ?
Nope, seems that Tom's a popular name in Benelux ;)
@@stuartwarnerc He sounded like Tom de Weerd.. But at least de first name is correct :-) beautiful model btw..
Nice, but still no telemetry 😉
What can I say, I fly by my wits ;)
