How do you get those blue lines under the black ones and still color it in as if it's all on one layer? Everytime I try it won't work with the paint bucket.

I wonder why you use Harmony Premium rather than Advanced, even though you do frame-by-frame animation…

This makes the animation process look so much less complicated. If only I had a powerful monitor or the newest one, I’d be animating my ass off. 😂

i always thought artists would draw curves from scratch, good thing to know that curving a straight line just works better instead. and man i should really practice using toon boom harmony more also, mega based mouse user. i'd always prefer being able to see my cursor on the screen and where the lines start and end.

I just come across your videos and I would have a few question. If you or even someone else who is knowledgeable about it could answer, it would be nice. Does the software you use for cleaning up animation is specifically made for cleaning up animation, or is it the same as any other software people use to draw with vectors ? Could someone clean up animation with any software with vector drawing, like for example Ai, or does it need to be one specifically for animation ? Do you need a high level of competences in animation to do animation cleaning, or could you do it if you’re good at digital drawing, but not necessarily animation ? Im asking that because I’m studying graphic design, so I use a lot of similar software, often draw with vectors, and I’m good enough at drawing in general. I think I would enjoy cleaning up animations but I’m not sure if i would need to get more knowledge about animation or not ?

This was actually helpful because I am trying to make animations independent from a studio so now I sort of understand the process. Also it was helpful to show that clean up is better with mouse due to making lines with less points.
