Hey J You should try using the Tom Uglys Bride boat ramp. The pontoon is right near the ramp, literally walk on it when you launch off the trailer.

It's not a bad thing to see these videos because people get this expectation that if we go out and don't get anything then we must be crap but they don't see how many hours even the top fishos spend on the water for their fish. Awesome video bro. Hey go to the opposite corner from that sandstone joint to the south. I've gotten big flatties and snapper there. Ya should stick ya nose Just out the Front and to the left. Tonnes of yakkas and slimies. Can fill ya tank in 10-15min. And squid there to.

Ya should buy ya self a cheap eBay mincer. And all ya old bait mince and put in a bucket to make Burley block's. That's what i do. Freeze old bait then when i get enough i defrost partly and mince into a bucket then refreeze into 10kg buckets. Work's awesome. Put in a keeper net off the back of the boat lasts hour's. Awesome video bro..

Hey Mate, I actually live a 5 minute walk from cabbage tree basin, im not too surprised you had a tough time fishing there. Basically in the last 5 years during huge storms the tidal water flow in and out to the rest of port hacking was blocked off by sand for a good while and essentially stagnated the whole area and killed everything, it's only in the last couple of years that the nice little inlet you showed at the start has opened and the basin has started to come to life again, I think it'll be a few more years before the fish come back in like they did years ago.

Your peristence and battling the cold is off the charts! Love your work.

Hey fisho brother, try fishing a paternoster singal rig buy some foam floats and sand them down to a football shape you can paint them in a uv glow if you want too and add them to your rig on the hook line, set it half way and use about a 60cm long leader for your paternoster rig, this will keep your bait off the ground and in jewies strike range plus you won't hook up to those pesty sting rays. You have to match the float size to your bait mate so it looks natural in the water. It's a rig you'll end up using all the time. South of that bridge you were fishing at is a place known as the basin it’s a massive body of water and holds a few fish . There is a track that leads you to it or just follow the water . It’s only known to locals or long time visitors . Google earth it .
