Bait running pretty low its time to get some more, and head North to the Hawkesbury for a different location again followed by some afternoon/night fishing.
Just found your channel this morning. Awesome stuff! Love seeing all the local spots. Fished all over the Southern Sydney river catchments, bays, beaches and rocks with my dad decades ago. Great to see it's still healthy and productive for those that are willing to explore and keep working at it 👌
Fishing the Hawkesbury, you need local bait I recommend fishing at Illawong pt as bait is in the bay just around the corner off the wall Coal and candle creek has some big kings and Jew to boot Berley up and there is yakkas galore
That's Brisbane waters fish the bend on the south side of the point not bad for jew and bream towards high tide after dark .... where you are gets a bit barren most times unless the Taylor and salmon move in ... Go to umina pools around the corner and fish off the rocks just past the pools not bad thr .... my backyard That was a female sand crab and the small one was it's male
@jasethejewman Thanks so much for that little bit of info mate. I'm going east Gosford, next week, renting an air bnb with family for little holiday. Can't wait. Gonna be land based, and fishing every night while the rest are settled in said airbnb. I'm the only fisho going, rest not that interested. Got any tips for my nightly solo land based missions?
Ya should get a Milwaukee 12v pump. Haha. Tax ride off to. 😉. Seen a guy using one in his bilge, pumps out quickly to. Awesome video Bro... Keep em coming.. Viva is now merged with gansels fish and tackle. My mate, who ownes gansels is his parnter.

They can ban the taking of blue groper but they cannot stop me from fishing for and releasing them. They are an amazing sport fish they test your tackle. I keep telling people that it only takes one “IDIOT” to stuff it for everyone.
It's interesting, something popped on my feed the other day about the groper ban. A guy from the Shooters Fishers and Farmers party was grilling the minister regarding the info on the ban. The minister stated the ban was based on feeling and had zero scientific data as to why the ban should be in place. Kind of crazy, you'd thing we wouldn't learnt something from Jaws.
