Hello, what time you start and stop when doing an Esther fast or is it just straight through? 😅

Hi Vanity, I went on a 21 day fast last year August. I was led to pray for healing. At the end of my fasting my husband was diagnosed with kidney failure which even the doctors were shocked that he was still alive(both kidneys). God saved my husband. God is faithful. He was admitted into ICU and we are trusting God to fully restore his health.

Great video! I've tried the Esther fast numerous time. I agree to disagree with you on your last statement. You don’t just starve yourself. Fasting has numerous benefits for your body, even without prayer. There are plenty of scientific studies showing how fasting supports your body in self-healing and disease prevention. Doctors now recommend fasting as well. Fasting not only provides spiritual benefits but also aids in your body's healing and rebuilding processes during the fast.

Can I still work on my online business while doing prayer and fasting ? My business is in social media where I post content and sell a digital product. Or should I sacrifice not working on my businesses for 3 days straight and solely focus on God ?

I finished my Esther fast on Thursday and today is Saturday. Although I didn’t hear from the Lord like that but I’m glad I did the fast. After I finished my fast I felt lighter and I felt the strength of God.🥺

A sister in Christ recommended I do an Esther Fast after my move to Dallas (7/01) and feeling extremely heavy with worldly emotions. I’ve heard God tell me to fast in the past but I wouldn’t listen out of fear of unknown. I searched for Esther Fast and came across you channel. That night I had so much peace and heard God tell me that’s what I’ll do the next morning. don’t know if you’ll see this but, came here from tiktok. i’ve only watched a couple lives but they have just jumpstarted something in my spirit that i’ve just needed so, so badly. cannot tell you how much I related to what you were saying about feeling like you're drowning in life every day and just wanting to be better. tired of low self worth/esteem, etc. I'm feeling this way right now at 24. I’m praying I can do this. 24 hours into my Esther fast. It’s July 4th. And all I smell is American bbq everything. 😩. Bad choice of day. But I have 2 more days to go. To break a lot of things of me. Spirit of Lust. Smoking weed. Financial breakthrough and to heal my health wise from an issue I have. I pray the lord hears my cry and sacrifice 😢. I’ll check back after I’m done.

Stay excited about the word of God

So by mistake I thought RUTH had the fast. So I listened to a video about Ruth. And don’t ya know that person said the SAME EXACT THING-about RUTH being the ONLY book in the Bible that doesn’t DIRECTLY & OUT RIGHT mention God. I found that to be interesting. THE ONLY 2 books named after women actually don't mention God but how The Spirit of God is working through PEOPLE. Also, maybe we should stop saying things like "it's the only book in the Bible that…"cause clearly that's not always true. But thank you for this video🙏🏾

Whewww, I made it thru. This fast was different for me. I watched so many sermons, listened to podcasts, watched Bible stories here on RUclips, read my Bible, read other Christian books, I kept my spirit man fed on the word of God, I haven’t been hungry.. I haven’t been on social media.. I started out with different things I was fasting for, that quickly changed, God started to show me more about me that I needed to see. Wow! He’s Amazing, He loves us so much 🥹🙏🏽🙌🏽

Hii Vanity. Thank you so much for your transparency about your relationship and feelings about being single, I've been single for more than 2 years and its been a journey😂. I was also talking to God yesterday about being Still as well and I feel so seen listening to you speak about it here. By the way, I'm just in day 2 of my fast. I started on Friday and its been great. I honestly cannot believe I'm doing this. So thankful for strength from God.

Just doing my check in since I missed day 2 live. Feeling great at 9:20p while listening to the live. I did get a bit sluggish around 6pm and start to feel a bit foggy for the first time. And had a coconut water and asked the lord to fill me up and sustain me. I haven't really been hungry thus physically but mentally i feel hungry or tempted when i have to feed my 1 year old. More so stopping old habits where if food or sauce happened to get on my hand I would just eat. but intentionally stopping myself and washing my hands, even removing the coconut pulp from my drink to only have water. down to spitting out any pieces that remain. I am fully committed to this fast and feel the lord has been covering me through. I don't know what the outcome will be regarding the breakthrough I'm seeking but I know that I will have truly sacrificed to my one and only true GOD. For the first time since I was a teenager. Although I technically started my fast at 4pm on wednesday unintentionally due to a dentist appointment and not being able to eat i'm still going strong. And that's how I know this is GOD's favor because every fast I have attempted since teen-hood. The moment I decided to start I would be starving even though I usually could go the whole day or most of the day without eating or drinking just from being busy. Vanity I just want to be transparent, you were meant to guide me and help me through this fast. I had been feeling called to fast for the last month and had been asking the lord how I am to fast and things like that. And he put you on my ig feed and I have been catching up since on you socials (all but tik tok I don't have it). And your testimony in this live resonated with me so much. I again thank you and expressed gratitude to the LORD for sending you to me in a season that I felt very much alone. I also resonate with hearing the lord speak to you through sermons or just watching something by what we think is chance only for they to preach directly to us and our situation. Sorry for the long comment but i hope this encourages someone💕
