well, my Outback has the D light out, looks soldered in.. Will probably cheat and get a spare from the yard, as usual. My 80s Subaru have a removable layer and then it's all transparent.

Just a word of warning on that uppipe, I had one myself identical to that. The flexi joint is prone to collapse. I believe they are made in china and the restriction when collapsed is significant.

This is solid! Sick build! Haven't seen a Forester STI since I lived in New Zealand, almost a decade ago, and I wanted one just as bad then. I wish the U.S. got these... maybe I should build one. :D

How easy was it to do the headliner? I’m curious about replacing mine!

I’m gonna be throwing down for a 6 speed transmission that comes with the rest of the drivetrain but I only need the tranny, front axles, drive shaft, and dif, however I won’t need the hubs, knuckles, brakes, or rotors so if you haven’t secure those yet lemme know. I’d have to ship them from Edmonton once they arrive but if it helps you out I’d love to find a home for them sooner than later.

While I love the classic 90's JDM, having previously owned and drove an R32 GT-R for a few years (which I miss every day), I would definitely do things differently if/when building another JDM project. The next time I find myself going down the Project route, I am going to base it on a CAN/USDM Market 'JDM Sister' model and simply import a 1/2 Cut or Palletized 'Parts Car' to convert everything that we never seem to get a version of in North America, as our 'Sister Models' are often crappy comparisons to their JDM Counterparts (ie, NA 240 vs Turbo Silvia, JDM EJ20v7, JDM Honda Motors, Brakes, Suspension etc). I don't miss RH Driving. I prefer the Left.
