Which display? If it's the main infotainment display, while on navigation towards the bottom left corner should look like 2 pieces of paper stacked on top of each other. Tap that and select what you'd prefer.

You may not like the answer, but the battery needs to be looked at by a dealership. As the battery dies, the "amenities" of the car stop working to try and preserve the ability to start the car.

I went actually last week and they told me something about the car was not coded properly. It was a simple quick fix and everything is functioning as it should now!

Nice! Glad to see my videos reaching that far! The biggest adjustment is getting over range anxiety, but if the car is mainly used for a A to B city car, and you have the ability to charge at home or somewhere local, there is no beating it!

?? Porsche 911 does not have a speed limiter, governor or restriction. It will go as fast as stated on the speedo so you drive as fast as you dare. This is not BMW or Mercedes. There is however a speed/audible reminder you can set in PCM for yourself to remind you if you’ve gone over a certain speed.

Actually yes there is! By tapping the button on the end of the turn signal stalk, you can select the option for "limiter" This does NOT work in conjunction with active cruise. If you set the "limit" to be 50 mph, then you can travel at your own leisure between 0-50 mph, but the car will limit you from going above it, however if you go down a hill and it DOES exceed 50 mph, you will get a chime letting you know to let off the gas. Very rarely used, but great for school zones here in the US.

Nah I just like smudging lol. Not many gloves work with touch screens, Trying to record, and click on the screen, while also worrying about if my button input actually worked just would be annoying.

The install, from what I've heard, is pretty decently easy, you still have to take down a bit of trim in the upper console to access the little connector for the Porsche Dashcam, but otherwise as long as you use the Porsche designed one it's pretty darn easy. Any other brand, I'd consult with a proper installer.

Yup! Funny enough, this wheel option available on the normal 911's. Pretty cool as I think they look the best, are the easiest to clean, and are the lightest!

I've closed the frunk by pressing the logo for 30 years across 6 911s. Why do you think you shouldn't use the badge? Have I missed something all these years?? (also keeps finger prints off the paint ;)

Dealer is silly, it's old tradition and as the other commenter said, they aren't glued in. I've seen enough PPF jobs done where the badge is removed. Just 2 pegs.

I think the new Lamborghini Temerario starts at 360k and just like any car of that caliber, there's no such thing as a base.

I've owned German cars all my life but have to say, this is insane pricing! There comes a point for every $20,000.00 increase in price, you get diminishing returns regardless of what metric you use as benchmark!!! Fit and finish is top shelf but I'm not going to pay $50,000.00 to get it! As for performance, I'd think I can order a mid-engine twin turbo Corvette for that base 911 price!!! There are only so many suckers out there who would go for this!!!

The entire Porsche line uses turbo to mean fast. Even the 911 has a turbo model that refers to fast and not turbocharged.

I love buttons, I can find it in the dark without looking. Especially A/C stuff. I'm constantly fiddling with my A/C settings. I hate ones that have them in infotainment systems. Reject infotainments, return to buttons.

On my 991.2 it works about 1% of the time and never when you need it to….i have a Benz and the hidden door handles never work and I hate them. This is what happens when boomers retire and retarded gen z children start designing our cars….not only are the lack of buttons a step backwards in usability- it’s actually a safety concern as plowing through menus takes away attention from the road…

switch [swiCH] noun a device for making and breaking the connection in an electric circuit: Button, turn key, switch. all feels the same to me. I still prefer to slot a key in the ignition.

Just switched from a Mazda to an Audi and the Mazda could do that but the Audi can’t 🫤 I feel your pain. Also can’t make the car not unlock the doors after putting it in ‘P’ park but I could do that with the Mazda. Besides that, I love the Audi more.

Manuals are slowly being phased out in the auto world, alot of it due to emissions. Really stinks.

The base car isn’t available with a manual, nor is the electric hybrid GTS. Though a manual is available with the newly introduced GT3.

US regulations require them to be orange from the factory. I assume they can't import and legally sell them without it conforming to regulations. Once its here however you can get the orange reflectors swapped out. I already have talked to my dealer about getting it replaced with clear ones when mine arrives in November.

You are correct. Porsche says the turbos are from the previous GTS, the intercooler is from the previous turbo, and I think the brakes are mostly from the previous S? The price jump is crazy, but at least they upgraded some things on the car. Only thing missing in my book is the LS diff.

S and GTS are the same turbos lol. (sounds better in marketing to say GTS though lol)
