best Cayenne video on youtube, just got what the cayenne owners need , thank you
Very glad to see it was helpful!
I just bought a pre-owned Porsche Cayenne S and this video helped me a lot.
Many thanks for all the info. Very informative and useful.
Your explanation is better than what my dealer gave me! Thank you.
I don't know if that's good or bad lol! I always feel bad when people get a nice new car and have no clue how to work any of the neat functions.
Thank you for taking the time to make this video. I had so many questions answered. Last weekend I drove the Hybrid Cayenne and I've been blown away. I think I know what my next car is going to be.
I'm glad It was helpful to you!
Very concise and well explained instructions. And I thought I would have to spend 100+ hours in the Porsche simulator, lol.
Thanks! I appreciate it!
Think he said "of course" more times in this video than I have in my entire life
Of course I did!
Perfect, thanks from a Belgium Cayenne Coupe Hybride owner
Excellent video. Spent most of Sunday afternoon exploring all functions that were clearly and succinctly described. Now feel I am properly set up, with a few 'ahh' moments along the way :). Many thanks.
That's all I hope for! We do trainings at work and will go over so much junk so long as 1 person learns something new I'm happy!
Thank you very much for the explanation. 1 hour seemed long in the beginning, but I enjoyed every minute of it! Regards from Belgium!
Glad you enjoyed it! Means alot!
This is what I was looking for. Thanks a lot. Double thumbs up 👍🏻
Thanks so much!
Excellent video. A SA who truly knows the car very well. Only slight, and I do mean slight critique is not really a good idea to leave wipers in intermittent. If, and I shudder at the thought of so doing, you take your Porsche to a car wash, the wipers will go on and the arms potentially damaged if they get caught in those flapping pieces or, perish the thought, brushes. Great job, sir. Ty.
I'm not a sales associate lol, I was the first "Porsche Pro" in the US, essentially this is my whole job! Show happy owners how to work their cars! The program is now spreading across the US fairly quickly, we have over 30 now. Pretty cool!
Why would you take a Porsche to a "car wash"?
Of course
best video ever. You should do a video with the cayenne on the park assist !!!!!!
Just uploaded one! Used the Panamera but exact same process!
good video but got pretty annoying how much you said “of course”.
True. I had to cancel watching after 15 mins as it really was too excessive and my ears started to bleed.
Funny. Of course I randomly scrolled through and stopped at a point on the video, saw your comment below and heard it at the same time. Of course. 😁
We just got a 2023 Cayenne Turbo. This answered a *lot* of questions we had, especially with InnoDrive!
I didn't go much into innodrive as it can be a pretty interesting and complicated subject. Innodrive in short, adjusts to route information. It can account for speed limits, corners, topography information and of course other cars. It can REALLY get crazy with hybrid and electric vehicles lol. Glad this helped clear out the controls though!
@@theporschepro1065 Yeah, I understand the technology behind InnoDrive. I just couldn't figure out how to activate it and what the little pop-up icons mean when turning on cruise control. Our salesman didn't delve into it at delivery time. I didn't even know that little button was under there for Mode! haha I thought the arrow meant the direction to press the stalk. I'm sure you can imagine the frustration, considering pressing down on the stalk cancels cruise. haha
@@tayl0rd553 No doubt! I'd be aggravated myself lol
And oh yeah, your video is REALLY helpful. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Dude you're a legend!
Thank you!
GREAT VIDEO!!! i learn a lot new to the brand
Glad to hear!
Good review.
thanks alot learrn alots for the setting
so how do the rear seats fold actually??
Is it possible for Porsche to reprogram the PCM software that controls the button that turns off the engine when you pause at a stoplight. Most people I know really do NOT like to have to turn the feature (button) OFF, EVERY TIME you start the car. I would prefer that the active default position for this switch be that the ENGINE STAYS RUNNING UNLESS THE SWITCH IS SELECTED. My 2014 Cayenne did not require that the switch be selected every time, but my 2021 does...........very annoying, thank you! My salesperson said it cannot be changed, but has anyone with Porsche pursued this?
Unfortunately the new changes are due to emission standards being changed, almost every manufacturer has adopted the Auto/Start stop defaulting on in the last year. To get the change from Porsche would mean a manufacturer supported facility would be changing emissions devices, which we just aren't supposed to do. I'm sure there are some aftermarket solutions, but unfortunately, those come with their own risks.
@@theporschepro1065 Thank you for your prompt response. where would one look to find after market solutions to this particular "problem" ? are there specific forums I should peruse?
@@suziqtexas8030 I always prefer rennlist and and porscheclubgb as good sources from owners of these cars, great forums.
@@theporschepro1065 thx!
I don't like it either and the only suggestion I have is to add it to the spare button on the steering wheel so that it is easier to access and with only 1 click.
Great video!
I just got delivery of my cayenne platinum, however I have the new PCM 6.0, please make a video on PCM 6.0!
Sure! When I get a bit of free time I sure will! I'll make one primarily focusing on the infotainment.
hi there mr pro i have 2019 cayanne and how to delete profile name in TO THE MANAGE DRIVER PROFILE PLS!!! review that on video thanks
I'm trying to understand you correctly, you wish to change the Name of the driver profile in your 2019 cayenne? I've noticed that if you don't initially use the setup wizard located in the settings, that loading the driver profiles tab just sometimes never opens. I hope this is what you are trying to do!
Thank you, I had 4 Porsches before, but I am having a problem with saving and rename my destination. Please, help.
Great review! Can the air be completly turned off in the back so when no one is back there its not running anything through the air vents?
Great video!
Thanks so much!
Of course!
They are my favorite words! What can I say!
Does the power folding mirrors (when you lock and unlock) come standard?
Yes
My man - I just got a 2020 Porsche Cayenne and your video has been huge. One thing I can't seem to find is how to show the speed limit on the left side, like you have under the temperature. Can you help me with that?
Stinks... but you typically have to have Porsche Innodrive to have that feature... Kinda Silly... Just had this discussion with a customer
@@theporschepro1065 Thank you. Your video was a 10, helped set me up big time. Aces.
I have a question!
In our cayenne 2019 when paired with an android via bluetooth, the network on the phone shuts down. The network is active on the car but not on the phone. Which means i cannot listen to music in online mode. If anyone has the answer to this one i would deeply apreciate it!
Sounds like somewhere in the settings of your phone you have "driving monitor" active. It means when the phone detects you being in a car, it goes into a "distraction free" mode. Ive seen it on iPhones a few times, android go to your settings and searching driving. Make sure its turned off. Otherwise you accidently are connected to the in car wifi and simply need to go to WiFi connections on your phone and forget the network.
93 octane is hard to find in my area. Is it OK to go with 91 premium gas?
I cannot answer for stuff like this. These cars are set up for the whole US including California which doesn't really have 93 octane so I imagine so but don't take my word for it. I can only go by what Porsche suggests
this thing has almost the same spec as my 2016 s e-hybrid, same color, same interior spec with the 14 way seats, everything but the adaptive cruise control and 4 zone climate!
That was always a cool engine, as far as I can think it's the only porsche that ever came supercharged. I could be wrong of course.

What actually happens is that the starter fails .. it has to change ..
And the starter comes from the sky, it doesn't need to be made on this earth .. and pollute the globe .. :-)
Bravo idiot politicians! Bravo porche, porche .. porc. he he ..
Thank you!
My Pleasure!
I bought a 2020 about a month ago (10/22) and it only had 2500 miles on it. The fellow had either too much money or not enough time to enjoy it. So its 3 yrs into its warrantee and I am looking for an opinion on if I should seek an extended warrantee, since it really isnt broken it. I have a call into our local dealer but still waiting on a response. What’s your opinion?
@@mshearerc Oh that's tough. A warranty always gives a nice peace of mind to whomever owns the car. I assume it's a cayenne? If so, they are pretty darn reliable for us, but you never know. Peace of mind is the best state of mind to be in. A warranty will be 1 less thing to worry about in your day to day life.
Thank you for your input! Yes a Cayenne. I had a Macan - and loved it but the Cayenne is just that much better. I will check out the costs and see if an extended warrantee works for me - thanks for you comments
How do I get the start stop app back on my menu if I took off my configure home
Ok, I'll try to provide the step by step in text, if you still have issues let me know!
1. Go to the main home page by selecting the top tile on the left side of your screen or by simply hitting the "home" button above your A/C controls.
2. While on the homepage, hit the option button, once again above the A/C buttons.
3. Select Customize homepage, (the name might be different I'm going off of memory lol)
4. remove one of the small tiles that you wish to replace by pressing and holding your finger on it, then dragging it off to the right.
5. Select from the right hand side selection of tiles, "Vehicle" and place it in the area you want by dragging it like the tile you just removed.
6. Once it's placed, swipe the tile to the right or left till you see the auto start stop symbol appear!
7. Save the changes and you should be good to go for your profile!
Of course… of course… of course… 😵💫🙉
I do these videos in 1 shot lol, I guess it's better than saying "umm" lol

Holy motion sickness batman
Yeah my camera equipment involved a simple Ipad and some arms that get pretty tired after about an hour of filming and holding that bugger up lol.
Panamera next plz ?
That one could be a bit, we are a bit short of Panamera Inventory at the moment! Next will most likely be the 992 911 and the Taycan!
Are Doug Demuro?
Not the 1st time I've been told I sound like him. As much as I like quirks and features in a car, I am not him lol. I do wish I had his car collection however!
AppleCarPlay?
Boring goes on and on those are not anything people can't figure out on their own
Many of my customers rather use their valuable time to spend it with family or working. This allows them to learn the car at their own pace without having to play a guessing game inside the car.
Shut it Cecil. Kick rocks
Buy a real phone ;-)
