  • Today at Porsche of Ocala we are taking a look at one of the most requested aspects of the new 992 generation of 911, the garage doors! This is primarily on how to easily access your “homelink profiles” after you have already set up your garage doors within the car.

That's my plan! unfortunatly inventory is a bit of an issue as the virus has really made it fun to keep cars in lol. I need one that has quite alot of goodies, and those are typically ordered units.

Any help deleting unused garage buttons please? Also, how can you rename a existing named garage button name? Tks!

Aha! Both of these questions are in the same location! Depending on your model year, 2021 and prior you are going to follow these steps. 1. On the left hand column menu selection, scroll down till you see settings at the very bottom. 2. Select settings and then vehicle settings. 3. From vehicle settings, scroll down until you see Homelink. And select it. 4. From this page you will see 2 similarly named selections, the one you want is "Configured homelink profiles" NOT configure new. Within the CONFIGURED page you can select which one you want to change or delete and youll see an "edit" option in the bottom right side of the screen. Any issues let me know, I have a 2021 cayenne that has a similar system I could make a video with.

Thanks so much set mine up today but it's still a pain especially backing out of the garage the rear camera is up until of course you put it In drive to access the menu to close...hate the thought of keeping the actual opener on the visor but it's alot easier than this

@@Trailjunkie62 Yeah... I will be nice and say, it's useful for people who have more than 3 garage doors. For everyone else it's a bit tricky... I like to program a SINGLE garage door that you want to use and only 1, then set it to a shortcut button. From then on, the shortcut button will just open the door without having a prompt or popup for you to hit. Just be sure not to hold it otherwise it'll ask you if you want to reprogram it.
