When I was reading Sherlock Holmes this guy right here is what I picture as Sherlock.

A great passage with Dr Watson being, for once, "allowed" to speak, and to speak for what he is : a medical man, and JB at [one of] his best[s]. Think of it : this little gem wouldn't exist if SACD had chosen the word "fixation" or "obsession" instead of the locution "idée fixe", delivered here with a delicious combination of professional authority and a slight maladroitness due to the English accent by the so talented Edward Hardwicke !

Holmes certainly wore the jacket , he totaly immersed himself in the character ...amazin actor , saw him at the Theatre in Bath few years b4 his sad death , The Secrets Of Sherlock Holmes , it was pretty good 👍 😊

In the books, the Diogenes Club is described as "the queerest club in London" and Mycroft as " one of the queerest men". I wonder why they changed that...... WTAF is wrong with the sound? When Watson is walking through the club lounge, it sounds like he's underwater, or in some kind of echo chamber...

As good as this is, I do wish they'd kept the scene at Baker Street as in the story. By changing it so that Holmes goes to the Diogenes club rather than having Mycroft come to him, they undercut how serious the problem is.
