Yes your observation about doughnuts is right . We Indians find American chocolates too Sweet ie the ones available in the US . Try any chocolate in India its less sweet (kitkat ) .

You guys should totally check out chikamagalur, which is 6 hours from Bangalore. The kemmanagundi Z point trek, and Hebbe falls is something that should not be missed. I had a wonderful stay at "Aakriti Homestay" which was a super peaceful resort
