What's your lens? Thanks!
Hubba hubba BJS. Simply amazing. Surprising how the colour appeared to the left of the sunset itself. The symmetry in the clouds is extraordinary 😮😮😮🙏🙏🙏
Wow, if there was ever a place to be for a sunset like that, that’s the place! Reflections mean double the splendour. Beautiful stuff. 👍
Wow! The sky and the water looked as they were on fire! Beautiful!
👏👏you always find a tree. The pano rocks!! Beautiful country side.
Ha ha - you have to love a great dead tree Gary 😃. Thanks and all the best 👍
Have a great trip 😊
You didn't see the cart tracks out to the water
Unbelieveable colours Brian. Outback sunsets are a sight to behold. I’m sure you already know, but make sure you go to the Breakaways just north of Coober Pedy. Safe travels. Cheers, Merv.
Absolutely stunning Brian, amazing colours you did really well to vary the comps to get the best out of it. 👏👏
Amazing! Not sure you will ever see better colours in a sunset. Thanks so so much for sharing.
WOW! Amazing sunset and serendipitous that the branch was there. The only problem with settings like this is that you will have trouble topping them! But then, maybe you don't need to - just find different versions!!
Beautiful photography, thanks Brian.
Good ol’ South Aussie sunsets. Beautiful, Brian.
Spectacular Brian, just beautiful! Oh, and what's your address? I'll send you my spare dead cat 🤣👍
Ha ha - I actually laughed out loud there Marty. Thanks as always. I have a drawer full of dead cats - maybe I should take them out of the drawer eh..... All the best 👍🏻
Beautiful images thx for sharing.
Many thanks Michael - much appreciated. Thanks for watching 👍🏻
Boom 💥 what a Sunset Brian 😮 Perfect location for it with those reflections, mate. Just amazing 👏
Many thanks Colin - good to hear from you mate 🙏 We were only there for one night - it's so nice when it actually works out for a change eh. All the best mate 👍🏻
Wow. That's some serious sky colours.
Cheers Barry - it was a crazy night! Thanks for watching.
Hey Brian, another great video and what a beautiful spot. Some really nice shots there. Ripper sunset too. Sorry it’s taken so long to drop a comment on one of your videos, but the way I watch RUclips rarely sees me either opportunity to comment as I watch, but not this time. Anyway, my name’s Geoff and we met in the Warrambungles as I was awaiting the light (on a very poor shot, lol) and I said I’d drop you a msg to say hi. Keep up the great work, always enjoy your videos. 👍
Hey there Geoff - great to hear from you! I remember it well - you're from up the coast if I remember correctly. Hey, I've stood there many a time myself and it's usually a case of 5 minutes after I've packed up, the magic all happens, ha ha! Thanks for the comment - really appreciate it 👍🏻
Where are we? Haha Great results there Brian. The dodge and burn definitely lifted the leading line of the road...
Hey thanks Mike - good to hear from you! I must admit, it does look like there was some dodging and burning there but I think it may have just been the way the light was at the time I took the shot. There were lots of clouds passing overhead so I can only put it down to that as I didn't touch the road. I did lift the leaves on the tree on the right just a tiny amount as I found it was blending in with the background too much. "Where are we?" I thought it was funny that my mate Lefty couldn't remember either!
There's some amazing drives around Rawnsley Park, it's a spectacular place
Couldn't agree more Debbie! It's a great location to keep on the hit list 👍🏻
Fun to include the outtakes Brian! It's no wonder you might forget where you are since you travel so much and to so many beautiful places! You make the most of each adventure for sure and we love coming along with you!!
Thanks so much Juanita - that's very kind of you. I thought it was funny that my mate Lefty couldn't remember where we were either! It was a bit of a whirlwind trip through the Flinders but it has such great variety for us photographers. All the best 👍🏻
Wonderful photos as always! Best part of the video? The techical problems! 😂😂😂 I can relate to not knowing where I am! 🤣😬
Ha ha - thanks so much Fanny - really appreciate it 🙏 Yes, I thought it was so funny that my mate Lefty couldn't remember where we were either! It's a beautiful part of Australia and I would love to go back and spend more time there. We're continuing on with the lap for now though - the next video will be a good one from the following location - one of the best sunsets I've ever seen 😉 All the best!
Nice visuals, try finding the Voice isolation in your editing software, will make a huge difference to the wind noise. I use final cut and it's in the audio section, works very well. Looks like you had a great trip..
Thanks K9 👍🏻 Yes, I tried voice isolation but the compression was really killing the whole audio track. I've got a couple of other plug-ins which didn't help much either unfortunately. What I really need to do is fix the problem at the source i.e. use my wireless mics and 'dead cats' etc - then the voice isolation would at least have have half a chance of working 😉. All the best and thanks for watching 👍🏻
@@klickinthewild Yup "fix the problem at the source." I learnt the hard way too.. All part of the video learning journey.. Cheers from Freo WA
Rawhide? hahahaha
I'm glad it's not just me that forgets where I am. I noticed a bit of a halo around the mountains on the pano. I'm not a pixel peeper but it happens a bit on my photos so I am used to seeing it. Apart form that little comment I loved the shots. The lighting and the colour were awesome.
Many thanks Richard 👍🏻 I always try to keep image sharpening very subtle, in fact I often dial down the opacity as well. I also use masks so the high contrast areas don't get too much sharpening. However, once you've done all this, exported the files and uploaded them to RUclips, the outcome doesn't always translate to what you were going for. Oh well, got to keep moving on eh - the original high res images didn't come out too bad. Thanks for watching 👍🏻
Epic Brian, apart from from the brief Alzheimer’s episode……….. the shot of Razor back and the Pano were my favourite 👍
Haha - thanks Paul 🙏 I thought it was funny that Lefty couldn't remember either! The Pano was one of those panic moments (I'm sure you've been there) where there was colour on both the left and right and I realised my 16-35 lens wasn't wide enough - then I suddenly thought..... PANO!! I was glad it came out ok 🙏
great video and shots cant wait for more
Many thanks Bryan - really appreciate it. Thanks for watching 👍🏻
Lovely images. I’d like to get up there sometime myself…
Many thanks Barbara. Ha ha - yes, it's not too far from your back yard! Some beautiful spots to see up there - definitely worth a visit. Thanks for watching 👍🏻
Lovely shots. Flinders ranges is a favourite place for me. Very funny out-take, not knowing where you are!
Thanks so much Narelle 🙏 Yes, there's so much variety there from North to South. Glad you enjoyed the blooper - I had to leave that one in 😉
amazing light at Flinders!! great content, mate ;-)
Many thanks Radim - really appreciate it. All the best 👍🏻
Awesome work mate. Loved the 1/3rd sec exposure on the water. It’s something I try and achieve when I can. Thanks for sharing, look forward to your next stop.
Many thanks twodogs - much appreciated. Yes I agree - I think the light was probably at its best on that shot. All the best and thanks for watching 👍🏻
Nice images Brian, the pano is my favorite, stunning. The Flinders Ranges is such an awesome destination. Cheers, Merv
Many thanks Merv 🙏 Yes, it's a stunning place - such variety between the North and South of the range. All the best and thanks for watching!
Thanks for sharing, great photo's, especially the pano you shoot, love it !! will be there next march, thanks for giving me ideas of the place ! Klaas
Many thanks Klaas 🙏 There are so many locations to shoot here - I hope you get great light during the visit. Brachina Gorge was a bit of a highlight and make sure you also take the road down past Razorback lookout - it was a fun drive. All the best!
Been meaning to get to Flinders Ranges hopefully next year. I would remove vehicles from panorama they so spoil lovely scene, nice work Brian.
Many thanks isotechimages 🙏 I know exactly what you mean - I flip between 'keeping it real' and 'getting rid of distractions' quite a lot and in this case, it certainly wouldn't have harmed the image. All the best!
Nice texture in the rocks! 👍And a cute wallaby with excellent camouflage! 🦘
Thanks so much Fanny - really appreciate it 🙏 He was very well disguised wasn't he. They blend in very well with their surroundings. Take care and thanks for watching 👍🏻
Beautiful location and pics thanks fopr sharing.👍🤩
Many thanks Michael 👍🏻
Lovely location, I can see it brought a great enthusiastic smile to your face, quite catching. 😊😊😊 Fabulous shots too, thanks for uploading. Cheers, Robert.
Many thanks Robert 🙏 Yes, there's nothing quite like that rewarding feeling when you find somewhere new. All the best and thanks for watching!
Beautiful spot and great pics mate. Did you exposure bracket that 1st shot? It looks fantastic 👍
Many thanks Marty - really appreciate it 👍🏻 Yes, I had to as the dynamic range in the cave was pretty extreme. I simply loaded the shots into LR, hit the HDR pano button and voila, it worked a treat. It's all about getting the tripod dead level eh. Thanks for watching 👍🏻
@@klickinthewild not sure if you're up to it, but I'd love to see you're work flow 🤔
Beautiful rocks, wonderful colours! Nice photos as always! 👍🌞
Thanks so much Fanny - always good to hear from you! It was a great little find - especially when there were no signposts to tell you it was there. Thanks for watching and all the best 👍🏻
What a place for sure! Great compositions of those amazing rock formations and carved out pools.
Many thanks Juanita! I have to admit to being a little gobsmacked when I saw all those carved out pools - there must have been a huge amount of water flowing through here over a fairly prolonged period for this to happen. All the best!
super comps Brian, just love those shapes and textures mate. 👏👏
Thanks so much Paul - really appreciate it. It was an amazing little find and so many of those little carved out pools. Keep this one on the list 😉 All the best.
Hi Brian. Just comparing shots from previous waterfalls you have visited and wondering do you have a preset you use when editing the colour. Whatever it is the colours are fab.
Hi Barry - it's a good question but I never really use presets. I tend to process everything from scratch. It's interesting because the more shots I do, the less processing I try to do - just try to keep everything subtle and minimal and take breaks i.e. go away and come back in 10 minutes to see if you like what you did to the shot 😉 Thanks for watching!
Really liked your second composition the most. Thanks for sharing, Cheers.
Many thanks Twodogs - really appreciate it. There were so many of those little carved out pools - you could spend hours there discovering it all 😉 Thanks for watching!
Wow Brian the places you are finding ! You had to work for those shots - the rock formations were stunning but must have been tricky to traverse. Love the comps. BTS Betty also doing well 😁 safe travels.
Many thanks Gary - really appreciate it. Actually yes, it was very tricky to get across - so many dead-ends and pools of water around every corner - worth it though. BTS Betty is alive and well ha ha!! All the best 👍🏻
Thanks for sharing nice area and beautiful pics.
Many thanks Michael - much appreciated 👍🏻
Awesome photos as usual. Loved The second waterfall The best. Thanks for sharing.
@@twodogs2009 many thanks 🙏
What a magic place. Gorgeous shots.
@@narelle4868 many thanks Narelle - much appreciated 🙏
what camera and lens do you use? great video!
Thanks Texmex 🙏. All of the shots in this video were taken on my Sony a7r4 and using the Sony 16-35 GM lens. All the best 👍
Another FABULOUS video, thanks to you, Brian and “Behind the scenes Betty”!
@@BarbaraMartin-f7m ha ha - thanks so much Barbara. What would we do without her 😉
Stunning location, enjoyed the video too
@@MrBerry67 many thanks Mr Berry 🙏. Here's another one to keep on the list - you could spend days here and still not shoot it all. All the best 👍
