Thanks Gary - much appreciated 🙏 I'm probably leaning towards the landscape shot too as the foreground was quite spread out over the shot. It was totally unexpected - we had no idea it was going to be this good. All the best and thanks for watching 🙏
Many thanks YPH - it's much appreciated 🙏 Aah yes, the reveal - it's a little bit of a tease but most of the time it's useful to draw attention to parts of the shot that you might otherwise miss if you just saw the full image for a couple of seconds 😀 All the best and thanks for watching 👍
Amazing vid Brian, you're video editing is fantastic, really enjoying the channell. What a great waterfall find!! Great shots I think the portrait was awesome, for 1pm the colours really popped. Great work I'm sure your channel will grow enormously 👍 Best of luck.
Many thanks David - that's very kind of you and thanks for commenting 🙏 Yes it was the middle of the day which is not normally the best time eh. I had to keep a watchful eye on the histogram to make sure I didn't completely blow out the brighter areas. The 5 shot bracketing helped too - it's a good insurance policy 😉 All the best and thanks for watching 👍
Many thanks David - much appreciate it 🙏 It's one of those falls where you can really shoot either but there's so much going on in the foreground, the landscapes work a treat I think. Extremely slippery though! All the best and thanks for watching 👍
Awesome waterfall mate 👍🏼 All the photos are beautiful in their own right but between the last 2 I'd say the horizontal just pips the vertical shot 👌🏻 Either one would look amazing hanging on a wall. Thanks again for taking us along mate. Safe journey back to Sydney 🙏🏻
Thanks Shane, that's very kind of you mate 🙏 I'm probably leaning towards the landscape shot too as there's so much going on across the foreground. It's a cracking location but if you visit, my recommendation is wear spikes as it's really slippery down there. All the best and thanks for watching 👍
Many thanks CTH 🙏 I'm glad you noticed. I kind of made myself a promise to increase the uploads for a while as I had quite a bit of content in the vault 😉 All the best and thanks for watching 👍
The midday sun has shining brightly that afternoon and there was a huge contrast between the shadows and the bright spots. But you managed to capture the scene magnificiently. I like the last shot becos it gives the viewer a broader view of the scene. Another great video there, Mr Smith
Many thanks Eric - really appreciate it 🙏 Yes, it's not the best time of day to shoot but the Sony does a good job on the lights and the shadows. I have to admit, I'm leaning towards the landscape too - those rapids across the shot kind of sold it for me 😉 Thanks for watching 👍
Many thanks Yevgeny 🙏 I think I'm leaning the same way towards the landscape - there's enough going on in the foreground to make it interesting without detracting from the main falls. All the best and thanks for watching 👍
Great waterfall mate. You've totally gone and nailed those shots again. I think the landscape was my favourite at the end - it was the shot that has everything. I hadn't heard of this one before, might need to organise a trip there soon lol. Looking forward to the next one!
Many thanks Bob 🙏🙏 It's definitely worth a visit and a few of the comments here are saying there's a nice camp site nearby too. Take your spikes though as it's super-slippery down there. All the best 👍
Thanks Anthony - much appreciated 🙏 I'm probably leaning slightly towards the landscape shot myself as the foreground was quite a wide scene. All the best and thanks for watching 👍
Many thanks Patrick - it's much appreciated 🙏 It was my first visit there too - I had no idea what we were going to find but so glad we made the trip. It's good to mix up the portraits and landscapes sometimes eh - my head usually goes straight to portraits when I shoot waterfalls for exactly that reason. If you visit, my recommendation is to wear spikes though as it's super slippery down there. All the best and thanks for watching 👍
I fould Paddy's River Falls after spotting the name on the map while camping overnight near Tumbarumba. Like you, I wasn't disappointed! 😁 With the wide foreground snf flattish cliff line I think I prefer the landscape shots.👍
Many thanks Peter 🙏🙏 Yes, that's pretty much how we came across it too and I was amazed I hadn't heard of it previously. Definitely a great little location. All the best and thanks for watching 👍👍
I live in the UK and visited my son in Tumut in April this year. A local suggested we drop in here after a day in the Pine forests. Personally I prefer the last landscape image, as a novice I shot only portraits and I hope to reproduce something similar on my return.
Thanks for your comment Ivan 🙏 Yes, normally when I visit waterfalls, my intuition tells me to shoot portraits however, I think the landscape worked for that last shot as there's so much going on in the foreground. All the best and thanks for watching 👍
Thanks for sharing this location with your audience. I like the portrait shots best with the contrast between the sun lit waterfall and blue foreground swirls. Such a shame to see graffiti on the rocks to the left in a relatively remote area.
Many thanks Mark - it's much appreciated 🙏 I normally go straight into portrait mode when I shoot waterfalls but this one had a bit of everything on offer. That's what I love about photography - there's really no right or wrong, it's just ultimately whatever you prefer 😉 Yes, I agree - a real shame about the graffiti. All the best and thanks for watching 👍
Stunning water fall! All the pictures are really nice, but my favourite was the last one! 👍🌞
Thanks so much Fanny 🙏🙏 Yes, it was a fun little location which I hadn't been to before. Thanks again and take care 👍
Keep “Em coming. What an amazing find. Booming falls. I did like the last landscape - captured the whole scene 🤩
Thanks Gary - much appreciated 🙏 I'm probably leaning towards the landscape shot too as the foreground was quite spread out over the shot. It was totally unexpected - we had no idea it was going to be this good. All the best and thanks for watching 🙏
So beautiful! It would be hard to pick a favorite from those!
Thanks Juanita - that's very kind of you indeed 🙏🙏 It's an amazing little location for a visit if you're ever over that way. Thanks for watching 👍
Bangin' shots Brian, that last landscape pic was my fave. Love the way you reveal your shots in bits before the full spectacle, awesome work mate.

Another great video, your images were stunning. I prefer the landscape images.

Really enjoying the recent increase in video drops mate 🔥
Many thanks CTH 🙏 I'm glad you noticed. I kind of made myself a promise to increase the uploads for a while as I had quite a bit of content in the vault 😉 All the best and thanks for watching 👍
its a lovely waterfall
Thanks Steve - I agree. It was very unexpected - if you're ever down that way, it's definitely worth a visit. Thanks for watching 👍

Landscape shot is my preference, although both shots are excellent composition.
Many thanks Yevgeny 🙏 I think I'm leaning the same way towards the landscape - there's enough going on in the foreground to make it interesting without detracting from the main falls. All the best and thanks for watching 👍

Great spot Brian - went there last year. I personally like the landscape photo (but all look great).
Thanks Anthony - much appreciated 🙏 I'm probably leaning slightly towards the landscape shot myself as the foreground was quite a wide scene. All the best and thanks for watching 👍
Hi Brian great find as I haven’t heard about these before , I prefer the portraits as they show the height better 😊
Many thanks Patrick - it's much appreciated 🙏 It was my first visit there too - I had no idea what we were going to find but so glad we made the trip. I loved them all. Did you digitalise them whilst you were there?
Many thanks Pamela 🙏 I shot everything on my Sony camera which is a high resolution digital camera - if that's what you mean 😃 Thanks for watching 👍
