I couldnt see were the glades was that front or bk couldnt recognise it tbh
Im from bromley da endz
Just my opinion but I personally prefer Hyla because that system has 32 different minerals. The only down side is no adhesive, just sealant is available on Hyla I & II. If you want to have adhesive and sealant on one planet your choices are limited. Charybdis II is one of five planets that have both. Xi Ophiuchi VIII-b is another. The remaining three are Shoza III, Pyraas II, and Gagarin rounds out the list. Of those five I prefer Gagarin because you can get both from plants/flora instead of animals/fauna. Its just easier to set up and no worries about wild animals coming in and killing off your farm animals. So I end up with all my outposts but one in a single system. The odd ball is Gagarin for adhesive and sealant. But I don't bother with a cargo link on Gagarin. I just fly in from time to time and pick up materials when needed.
I think I saw your post on Reddit some real dedication right, here man love The Outpost system love what you've done with it!
Wait do you have any outpost on Decaran
@@penshockey5474 no sirrre bob
@@THEJimmiChanga how you getting vytuinim
@penshockey5474 it's one of the 5 resources I have left to get. My goal is to get the last 5 on stream this Saturday and funnel them to my main planet. At that point, I'd be willing to bet I'm one of the only people that's got every resource in the game getting delivered to one planet consistently lol. At least the only one on youtube lol
All I ever wanted was a location with iron and aluminum to build a casual home base where I could take my helmet off and breathe the fresh air. After a lot of research and scouting, I finally found Moloch II and a scenic ridgeline with iron, aluminum, and water. It does have intermittent lightning and dust storms, but that makes it more interesting IMO. I really can't be assed to become a logistical robber baron - I mean, what's the point?
@paull3278 I've definitely came across many planets with both. Their in different biomes though so you'll have to scan the planet from orbit and click around until you find a landing zone the is 1cm away from each biome Example: say mountains and hills are next to each other. Find a spot smack in the middle of both to where if you click 1cm left its mountains and 1cm to the right its hills. This will generate a split biome map where you can get both biomes resources in one outpost.
@@THEJimmiChanga Not many have both and are breathable/temperate and have a spot where the biomes border for an outpost. Can't be more than 3 or 4 in the galaxy and I can only confirm Moloch II and Guniibuu II but Guniibuu II has corrosive conditions IIRC. Leviathan IV and Nikola I were on my list to check, too.
@@THEJimmiChanga Codos and Muphrid IV fulfill all the conditions, for example, but the iron and aluminum biomes never touch on them.
@paull3278 my main op network I'm known for, and now my second op network I'm creating with a new character for my "starfield as a regular citizen" challenge run both are operating with different planets for iron and aluminum. BUT, in your case, if that's all your looking for, it wouldn't be hard to setup a cargo link and ship the aluminum to your iron planet (or visa versa depending on which planet is more appealing for a home)
@THEJimmiChanga For sure. That's what I did on my first playthrough. I was more just looking to see if there was a casual one-stop shop for new playthroughs without any real setup. More power to you doing intricate networks; I don't have the patience for that.
Is there a easy way to sell these things for credit without hopping all over the place looking for vendors, without using mods?
I primarily fill cargo contracts at mission boards and for star yards. You can also give vendors more credits in the settings without mods for selling larger quantities of fab parts.
I feel like the rana system is better then charydbios one or no
I actually included Rana as an honorable mention in a top 5 best star systems to start an outpost network in video i made a few months back. At face value it seems great with all the loaded planets, but in practice it's difficult to make work (not impossible). The chances of getting a lot of those resources on one planet in one outpost are pretty slim and hard to do. In my experience putting more than one outpost on a planet and then running cargo links causes a lot of problems. Rana also doesn't have a lot of versatility for animal husbandry and greenhouses. It's a great star system to add to an existing network though for some of its rare resources
@ you’re right I was just looking at rare resources not the husbandry
@penshockey5474 a lot of people sleep on the greenhouses and husbandries. Imo their the most important element to a op network. You get adhesive, sealant, lubricant, solvent, toxin, microbicrobial, cosmetic, ornamental, structural, nutrient, membrane, polymer, and the list goes on from them. Some of the most important things in the game when it comes to crafting weapon/suit mods, making chems, and running compound/multiplex fabricators.
So did you use mods or is this vanilla either way very impressive would like a detailed guide so I too can live like a king lol
@aarongeeks9139 no mods! I'm working on an updated detailed breakdown on how It's gotten to its current state, but with everything involved it's a massive undertaking. I'm hoping to have it done by the end of November. I do currently have guides on my channel covering various aspects of this network, as well as a detailed breakdown on how I got this network started. I've been live streaming its progress as of recent every Saturday morning/afternoon. The live streams are the best way to see it in its modern current form. I leave them up after the stream as well for people who can't make it live
Appreciate everyone who stopped by today! Sorry about the clipping w/ the microphone, nobody in chat told me it was ass on a stick. I'll turn it down for next stream lol. We managed to get 6 new resources today to my main planet! Palladium, Dysprosium, Ytterbium, Plutonium, Tasine, and Lubricant. We are officially 5 resources away from having access to every inorganic AND organic resource IN THE GAME on one planet!
Saving this video in my playlist for when i get back to building my outposts again. Thanks for sharing.
I enjoyed your stream today. I found Rothicite on Carinae, by Sarah's plantet Eta Casiopia, far to the left in the Starfield. My first outpost was on Feinman and per watching your vid from almost a year ago now. Lost it all to Unity. I appreciate you.
I appreciate you! I'm definitely going to stream more regularly. In my free time I'm going to comb over some of the first outposts I put down in this network to get them operating more efficiently and on par with all the other outposts. It's been awhile since I went through all my individual outposts, especially the first couple, because everything has ended up at my main planet in abundance. This stream definitely has me wanting to go back over everything and update it.
Is there a way to get all resources in to a single syystem
@penshockey5474 there isn't a system that can give you every resource in the game, but there's multiple systems that give you all your main resources, a couple good rare resources, and have 1 or 2 planets with moderate/abundant fauna & flora for your green houses. I ran a single star system in charybdis (8 planets used) for awhile before I branched out into a 2nd star system. I made a top 5 +honorable mentions video for the best systems I've came across to pull of the single star system network.

Hey Jimmi, nice work fella! Im curious about the transfer link function you are mentioning at 8:30 for some reason it dosent work for me that way. Do u use a Mod for this feature? greetings from overseas
No mods. Ive always been able to transfer stuff from my person to my ship and take stuff from my ship to my person as soon as I put a landing pad down.
Oh I love this idea, well done and well edited to boot!
I appreciate it sir! I've definitely been trying to refine my editing with each video. However, each video takes longer and longer to edit because of that lol! It's good to hear that it isn't going unnoticed!
@@THEJimmiChanga I totally get that- Editing is something I enjoy but the work feels like it only increases! Its the price you pay to find your style, right?
If I delete other outposts do you recoup the resources you spent to build? I want to use this one system plan lol
@jeffn6739 sadly no. You can however recoup materials if you individually delete every item separately in each outpost. Tedious for sure, but it can be done. If you delete the outpost outright you get nothing back
@@THEJimmiChanga thanks man, greatly appreciated. I’ll do that
Btw you definitely dont need to do the bank heist mission. I know because ive never done it
@qwertyvypez interesting... Oh well, it honestly came in clutch for start up costs for my first two outposts, but I'll keep that in mind in the future.
Hello, do you use a ENB or reshade? the game looks really good.
Thanks man! I do not..Vanilla, no mods. I'm running the game on PC using fairly high end hardware (5800x3d CPU, 6900xt GPU, 32gb 3600mhz RAM) w/ a mixture of high/ultra settings and native 1440p resolution. If you're on console, I read somewhere that they use a mixture of low/medium setting w/ upscaling so there will be a big difference in fidelity from what your seeing here. Honestly, I really appreciate the feedback. I'm glad it's coming through on the videos. I record @1440p resolution and have my bitrate cranked to 60k in my recording software to try to remove any grainy/pixilated visuals you get from recording.
Ended up paying off the trackers alliance. I took the wanted perk like an idiot because I thought it would be fun running all the time but found out quickly it's a pain if you're ambushed in orbit and just want to land on the planet. You cant because "you're in combat" so you have to fly to another planet, then fly back. That's why I just put em' down. However, I'm going to end up paying the trackers alliance. Lesson learned.
No killing or stealing???? Where's the fun in that? On this playthrough I'm a Serpent worshipping Ronin who's wanted. I excel at being an undetected assassin with blades, sidearms and offensive powers. Oh and all ship skills almost maxed. On my way to side with the Hunter again to go into ng+2. Oh and other than crew on my ship I work alone because companions just get in my way.
Enjoyed this:P waiting for ep2
I appreciate it! Definitely having fun with this series. There's a chance I may end up streaming the recording of episode 2 today, not sure. Depends on how far I get editing EP2 of can't leave VKAI today. 100% streaming while recording episodes eventually.
Looks to be a really cool series so far man! Cant wait to see more
100% excited for this one! Definitely has me excited to make content. I have another series I'm going to be running next to this one where I can't leave a star system (no warp drive). Essentially going to colonize the entire star system. I appreciate the support!
@@THEJimmiChanga always love to see more excitement in the space. Starfield is a great game and I think we need all sorts of folks spreading the love!
@@Senpatriarch I often feel like I'm one of the only creators out here making positive content on the game. It's a damn shame, especially given how small my channel is, so I don't have enough influence to attempt to change the perception on this game. I'm just going to keep grinding and showing that there's more than one way to play this game, and ultimately how to make your own fun in Starfield.
@@THEJimmiChanga hell yeah man keep grinding! I’m a few episodes deep into my own series and it’s been really fun just gushing about how much I love the game lol. Keep up the good work!!
@@Senpatriarch I didn't realize that.. I just subbed. Gotta support each other!
The most annoying part of the outpost system, to me at least, is that there is more than a decade of games that do similar things that they could have looked at for inspiration on how to make things easier for the player. Factorio, Satisfactory, Captain of Industry, Manor Lords and a bunch of other games deal with resource management and logistics, but apparently Not Invented Here is a mantra. E.g. you HAVE to remember in which of your bins you have a specific material. You can't see it from the build view. E.g. when you go looking for your copper for the Tau Grade Rheostats. All you know is that since it is copper it has to be in a solid storage container.
Thanks for the content, 💯 worth a sub
@thorgen_ironside5279 I really appreciate it! I've got some big plans for the channel coming up. Some really cool series's within starfield, a series in fallout4, and more guides. First episode comes out this weekend.
I'm not putting much focus into Outposts until NG+1. I am however looking at places up high where you have a 360 view of the valley around it. So far Alpha Andraste 3 is one. On a clear day I can see it from about 1000M away. I found another on Akila but the climbing sucks in this game. Going to try and save scum my way up. Failing that, rank 1 boost now that I think of it.
Do you get exp for the created comm relay parts.
@@The_Makr_ tbh I don't think you do unless you create them at the industrial bench. Fabs are for printing money and industrial bench for xp
@@THEJimmiChanga yeah that would be kind of broken if you could.
This is all incredible. I love the system and what you can do. The problem is when you realize that base game vendors have like 6k credits on them. Bethesda truly squandered so much potential with this game. Thank goodness for mods. I plan on starting a base project based on the systems you highlighted.
When sending through multiple resources through a single cargo link, how do you resolve bottlenecking of some resources by the others which are faster in generating?
@imaera1 it's essential to use the exact amount and style of extractor per resource. Thats really the only way to combat this. It's not a sure fire 100% solve all method, but in my 40 hours of running this network and having multiple links that are pushing 5+ resources, it's what works best for me. If I don't get a specific resource during a load, it's almost a gaurentee it shows up in the next load.
@thejimmichanga2913 OK, thanks. That makes sense. I suppose we just have to make the receiving containers as deep as possible to allow for just that. I'm going to try this.
@imaera1 as you can see at my main HUB planet, I take storage very serious lmao. The outpost is essentially made up of nothing but cargo links and storage containers occupying every Sq inch. Also, on the outgoing planet, make sure your extractors are connected to a storage bin chain first and not directly to the outgoing box. Extractor into storage, then connect the last bin of the storage chain to the outgoing box. It also helps to have every resource going into its own storage bin network rather than combining for example multiple different solid resources into the same storage bin chain. On the receiving planet it doesnt matter
Great video - thanks for sharing on Reddit.
@RichardBejtlich I appreciate it! The outpost community is stronger the more info that's out there. As it grows and more people push the limits of this mechanic, the better chance we have at Bethesda adding some official features for outposts!

@grantbartholomew2057 seems solid! All 3 systems are systems I deemed top 5, or honorable mentions, material for building networks in. You'll be sitting pretty with that network! I'm currently in the same boat where if I want to run tier 3 extractors, I'm going to have set up inside of a 3rd star system. But between Charybdis and Feynman, I've got access to almost everything important outside of the very rare resources.
@@THEJimmiChanga i haven't played the game as of yet. I just have a list of the mods i want and a plan to start mining straight away. Saving up for a gaming PC, just for Starfield. The longevity from this game is going to be outstanding, especially if you role play the characters and make decisions on what the character would do and not for the best outcome.
Thank you for the information!
@JimLayneFH You got it! Ive got more in the pipeline. Im not stopping until I'm funneling the max of 24 outposts worth of resources to my main planet, or I break the game trying. Either way I'm documenting it lmao. I appreciate the support!
Yep, have same bug, if you recruit settlers they'll automatically take up food farming if you have food setup but if they are already there they won't do anything, sometimes they'll randomly start farming on their own if they need food but you can't tell them anything. Only Covenant works properly. If you have a settler count go down, that settler is still there but you have to re-assign them to the settlement to get them back but now they aren't assign to anything. They MAY start farming since that's their default if they need food an food is there to work. London Bridge should be completely avoided, settlers can bug out an wind up in the water an die like idiots. Just move everyone out. I was able to save the mercenaries & Beefy by moving them to Billington (which seems to work fine) I did a pretty fancy "shopping district" setup but this settlement sucks because literally it has ZERO build height, you get barely close to the top of the building an you are cut off an there is annoying "cut offs" the build limit on the corner. I basically built a sealed off settlement with concrete walls, an powered doors. Had one "raider attack" an pretty much owned them despite them being super high level. Another settlement that seems to allow you to assign settlers is the Billington Airport, that one is also "meh" cause you have a lame Height build limit so I basically built a "pre-war" themed maintenance warehouse beside the garage already there, an then some concrete bunker thing. I was super disappointed with Vauxhall site, massive sky high build limit, huge area. I built two 2 story stores on the one spot, a power house (the annoying spot with walls you can't scrap but concrete goes right over them) an finally the massive "concrete fortress" x.com/DVicious66/status/1842923520088846756/photo/1
Starfield is a nerds paradise
Best part about schrodinger, 4th planet produces fibre, ship that to the 3rd planet, then you have all the stuff you need to farm/make O2 SHOT. Awesome XP and Credit farm
You are goated. We need a mod to sell materials wholesale
lmao! I appreciate it man! Dude I've got some heavy duty time into this. It's almost comical..If there was a mod where you could turn this into a legit business I would be on it faster then a fly out grilled burgers. BGS dropped the ball on not making the deeper, especially given the industry mogul background. They could implement two new ship pads. One for sending stuff out via your own cargo ships to different star yard (like deimos, hopetech, nova etc) and another ship pad for their ships to land and collect resources they need. Some sort of automated sales network fulfilling contracts. Wishful thinking, but it doesn't seem like it would be that far of a stretch to implement
Hey mate. Congrats for the great job. Will you introduce cables networks with interruptors ?
@fredericdeleporte2239 I appreciate it man! I'm not sure what you mean by cable networks and interpreters though.
@@THEJimmiChanga there are some economy mods that change starfield economy to favor resources instead of selling loot.
So I did something different but used this guide to show me what to do. I have 2 intersystem cargo links per planet(same system you used) and funnel them in a chain to the first planet which has the main cargo link to my home hub planet, I have an outpost right outside New Atlantis, on Jemison. Works great man, thanks so much. I would have had no idea how to do it without this guide! 👍🏼
@briancallison They don't really explain it in game. Took some trial and error during my first run. I knew going into ng+ exactly where I was going to build this network and did almost all of it before even visiting the lodge for the first time lol! I appreciate it man! With the DLC here, I'm actually back to Starfield and have a few outpost videos planned for the next couple weeks. Working on a simple guide on how to add a 2nd star system to your network while still having all the resources funnel to you main original planet as well as a fabricator guide so you can automatically have your resources get used to create useful items without having to touch anything ever outside of initial setup. This helps keep your network from getting clogged up with raw resources. Stay tuned!
@@THEJimmiChanga hell yea will do
ran into ng+ cargo link count reset. kind of nullifies this
@Ansellthethird That's why I said this is good for when you start a NG+ playthrough. The earlier game, the better. You lose all your outposts and ships moving on to NG+
Showing a video of the settlement but nothing can 've seen because it's dark. Perhaps do another showing it in day light or use the atta boy torch.
Explained so well and easy to understand and follow! Nice one mate, hope to see more Starfield content from you :D
@mactravel I appreciate it man. I actually started playing this week again after a 4 month break from the game. With the DLC inbound, I'm getting the feel of things again. Probably will have a video on creating a fabricator network out before the dlc drops.
I gave up on settlements. They just end up crashing if you add in to many items.
@anon_ymous91 I haven't ran into that thankfully. I do run a pretty high end rig though so that may play into it. Game is creation engine loves eating up cpu resources as well as vram. I have however had to console command my settlers back down to the ground numerous times as they end up on the rooftops
@thejimmichanga2913 I have a pretty beefy rig too so that shouldn't be the issue. I'm not sure what's causing it but I've had it randomly happen a few times now. Same thing used to happen in sanctuary in F04. So far it's only happened in lamberth walk, but due to losing everything I'm to scared to try building big at other settlements.
Nice video. But because of that stupid snapping system I barely making any outposts, it`s just too annoying.
Thanks! Been on vacation the last 2 weeks w/ the fam. It's back to Starfield in the coming weeks w/ the DLC just around the corner!
I've been using Sim Settlements 1 and while I have to manually assign each settler they stay put (did have issues with Whittiker not being interacable and staying properly assigned) did notice they wouldnt stick properly on the random crops I planted but when I left and came back they were assisned, but with Sim Settlements 1 it seems to workl
Whitty won't even let me recruit her, so I think it's cause I don't meet some requirements. How did you get her to come ?
I got one in korea and i think its fake no dice on head stock no push pull pot
Where are you getting copper from? The planet with Flu and TetFlu has copper. Are you getting it from there? Did I miss something?
It's in here, though very briefly covered. I'm getting it natively from my main hub planet
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; -Romans 3:23 And you will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. -Jeremiah 29:13 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life. - John 3:16 Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out. - Acts 3:19 If you’re in North America, please go check out any of the churches available to you: PCA, OPC, Rpcna, Urcna, or a Canrc church (These are conservative and actual Reformed/Presbyterian churches) If you’re Scottish, I recommend the Free Church of Scotland and the APC. (Different from the Church of Scotland) If you’re English I recommend the Evangelical Presbyterian Church in England & Wales and the Free Church of England (Different from the Church of England) Also online you can look up church finders for each of the groups, it’ll show you locations And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. - Hebrews 10:24-25

A lot of high buildings around, how high can you build there?
@Oxy_Cotton not very high. You can go 2 stories no problem, but while you can put up a 3rd story wall, you cannot put a floor/roof on top of it. That my biggest gripe of the entire settlement, especially since there's so much potential to build on the 2nd story balconies in the middle, but you cant.
Hey THE JimmiChanga can you also detail which resources do you get from each planet ? as an example talking about the first moon from this vid i set up the outpost on helium3 al and be spot do i forget or sacrifice the nd or can i collect it in some other way as in setting up multiple on 1 planet/moon (what happens to cargo ling situation in that case)
@MrAtharos I would avoid setting up more than 1 outpost per planet as it can cause the cargo link system to act wonky. I'm a huge advocate for taking the extra time on each planet to find biome split, therefore maximizing the potential resources in each settlement. The surveying perk can help a lot by highlighting materials before landing so you can pin point your best landing spot to achieve this.
The first settlement I stumbled across was Biggin Hill Airport. And it happened to work just fine. The second one was London Bridge where I have exactly the issue you are describing. I am now past Level 40 and still couldn't find a third settlement. Maybe I will use a guide soonish.
@Tenajeh I beat the game a few weeks back and can say definitely that the 2 settlements that worked for me without any real issues were biggins and covent. Outside of that I've ran into all sorts of weird things with the other ones. Lambeth walk was actually pretty problem free for me too outside of settlers leaving it randomly for Vauxhall construction out of no where.
Yep, Billington seems to work fine, maybe they put extra work into it cause it's part of a huge quest you have to finish to unlock it. Everything else seems broken. I don't know about the settlements (tiny) you get in the other areas of the game, that are also "in their own cell". Those are in the outside travel areas an i haven't gotten to that part in the story yet. I was able to send settlers to other settlements that "work" like "beefy" an if settlers show up they'll take up farming automatically so you just have to "leave them" an accept you wont' be able to tell them to run stores, resource bench, guard duty, etc.
