Taking the journey all around the spectrum. Auto repair, Car Audio, Auto shows, go fast parts, and all that fun stuff. The goal is hopefully some of this content helps answer some questions and gives a new perspective for auto enthusiasts. All will be done with a budget in mine.
OBS Chevy Subwoofer Upgrade, Skar's To Avatar's, Racing With Car Audio Struggles More RMS More Bass!
This one we swapped out for some stronger SUBS!! Its wild because they weigh almost the same thing and one isn't a lot larger than the other. The Skars handle 1500 watts RMS (Super Underrated) & the Avatars are 3000 watts RMS. Avatars most likely have the edge because its a 4 inch voice coil compared to the Skar 3 inch voice coil.
Reinforced the false floor while I had access to it plus cleaned up some wires. Then lastly weighed all of my equipment to see how much weight I have working against me for performance purposes.

Back to the motor I got from Jeff (Youngins Lifestyle). I needed to take the time to start breaking this thing down. Starting off with unbolting the bulk off of it and getting this wild grease and grime off the engine. Its a lot better dealing with a sludge free motor. Either this is seeing the machine shop or a may find a 400 SBC first. Step one, secure a working space and get it together.

Here is the second episode of getting my suburban back on the road. Got the right stuff I need this time to swap this oil pump and pray for oil pressure. Plus I found out that I had 4 days to get thios truck off the property. That sucked......... Completely changed major plans and not for the better.
