The best video I have ever seen. Get the bosch pump if you dont want to rewire and grind off the right peg on the lock ring or spend $9 -$10 on a new lock ring that wont have the pegs. The pegs are for easy factory installation. Above all buy delphi oem, carter or bosch. Never get airtex for the love of.

I found carrier bearing on Amazon. Link in the next comment. But also replace the U-Joints. There are 3. Make sure to order the correct ones. There is a difference on U-Joint size between 4x4 and RWD. I enjoy the video. Thank you.

FYI - The way you pulled it out was the correct way (brown side facing out). I dont know if you can stick it in backwards but if you did manage to stick it in the way you said you were going to, then you stuck it in backwards.

Our car is a late 2011 and there was no flat part on the white plastic container, had to keep it aligned with the hole to come straight up, still took a lot of wiggling back and forth. WHAT, they couldn't make the hole .5" bigger? The hole in the floor should be 1" forward or at least .5", but at least now I know how to do it. What a royal PITA!

Hello, I am the owner of a 1998 Explorer, 4.0 V6 SOHC in Europe (Czech Republic). Diagnostics showed me the code P0174, at the service I already changed - new spark plugs + cables, new distributor (coil), new fuel pump, cleaned the intake flap, new intake sensor. The problem with my vehicle is that when starting off at an intersection or at an intersection, the revs drop to an absolute minimum until the engine is able to shut off. I have the intake off and will be changing the o-rings today (Oct. 12, 2024) just like you. I hope this helps. I wouldn't know what else to go for. When the engine is cranked, you can hear air hissing somewhere from the front intake points.
