Great video! My Kia Sorento is needing exactly what you're showing here. I need to replace the drive shaft because the center support is totally gone. My Kia was shaking like a 8.5 on the Richter scale for earthquake. Thank you so much! great video! 👍🏻🎉
I really liked your video was very simple and to the point I had a problem with my 2007 Kia Sorrento over a year ago, and my mechanic said it was a rear end. We went to the junkyard last November took off the rear end thinking we would finish it in a week or 2 so I could have my car. It's been almost a year now . After seeing the rear end on the ground and the oil was coming out of it, he said oh I don't think you needed a rear end. Now that I listened to you,. I'm pretty sure it was the drive shaft. He told me I needed to a u joint for the driveshaft after he put everything together and I drove it to the corner. I told him before I drove it that Something is not right, he said., drive it anyway, and I'm sure that's what the problem was m. Now since watching you. I am a very handy person a Union carpenter and a woman. I know I could do this by myself. I would just put some jacks underneath to hold the weight of the drive shaft with my friend, we can do that from watching your video Thank you. Very confident now I will watch other ones but I like yours. All the little bits and pieces that You showed us about the washers and make sure that part is upside down to the ground etc. was very helpful. Appreciate it.
Hey Man, you may not be a professional mechanic but your heart is in the right place trying to help others. That is how you learn to work on cars- just do it! If you make mistakes, you learn. You help many people just getting under the car and talking through the details. I also like your commentary :) keep up the good work! Bueno. For others- if your Sorrento shakes a lot when accelerating or hitting bump, this may be the reason.
I came here to watch the video to help my brother whose bearings broke on his 2007 KIA Sorento but I honestly was getting invested in what seemed like hot gossip in the background.
Thank you my friend it helped me with my 07 your awesome bro im a white guy and i work with mexicans and my experience is your race was born with a ratchet you guys can fix anything MUCH LOVE KEEP DOING THESE VIDEOS BRO
it does way more than that . If your the 4x4 model it does an lot . for example if it was one part drive shaft the drive shaft will hit the cross beam when the rear end drops like 4 or more inches . it flexs at that point giving it more flex in the rear so its into two ;parts so you getg more flexablty in the rear alex so 4 inches turns into 8 inches or more

Pretty sure I found a center support bearing at AutoZone but I can't get my axle apart though there's no clips to take the u-joints apart in ordering to replace the actual bearing
Mannnn. My sorento, got on the highway and started shaking like I had a flat tire. I go to pull over and all the tires were fine. Had the chance to make it home. But did u have similar sound. Anddddddd it will make a loud click when I switch through the gears.
Simple get under the car grab the driveshaft from the center and wiggle it up and down if you feel like it's wiggling more than a little bit that's your problem
Tengo una 2007 la cuál necesita reemplazo, lo he buscado y solo hay el de 2003 a 2006, ¿sabes si puede quedar en la 2007? Porque no lo he encontrado por ningún lado
Hey man I have a 2007 Sorrento and mine only vibrates when you accelerate from first gear just for a few seconds and then it goes away after that when you’re riding down the road only vibrates when you takeoff from first gear from A dead stop I was wondering how you can physically look under your car and see if the bearing is bad will it have play in the bearing if it is bad when you wiggle the driveshaft please let me know I sure would appreciate it and I would appreciate if you could tell me if that is the symptoms of that bearing going out
Yeah man you get under the vehicle and just grabbed the driveshaft and wiggle it around where the bearing you will see if there's play little play is normal big play it's a problem or you have issues with motor mounts or tune-up

I got a 2003 Kia Sorento LX that makes a bad rattling sound coming from the back it only makes the sound when I let my foot off the gas only then does it. It'll do it in any gear and they'll do it in neutral also only when I take my foot off the gas. Can anybody point me in the right direction as far as what this might be thank you
Check under the car and see if the exhaust heat shields is loose that's okay check your drive shaft to see if there's any play from one end to the other and the center
@@aaronmobilemechanictv7841 perfect I have an 09. Did you change just the center support bearing or did you have to change the whole 2 piece drive shaft with the bearing already attached to it?
