tampabaycichlids.com review
Hi, everyone I'm back with an online fish purchase review. tampabaycichlids.com is a website that offers cichlids online. They mostly specialize in peacocks & haps but they do have other fish available. I was pleased with the order and so I do recommend them. I do apologize for some parts not in focus and somehow during editing some of the photos shifted in the timeline. Follow my instagram #fishn4k for more content & subscribe for more videos.

Aqueon/Petsmart 65 Gallon Aquarium Ensemble REVIEW: DON'T BUY!
Просмотров 12 тыс.5 лет назад
I bought this Aqueon 65gallon ensemble from PetSmart and less than 60 days after owning it, it developed a leak. After reading the reviews online, I see that many others have had the same experience. I believe Aqueon may have had manufacturing issues for these tanks from 2016-present. PetSmart's Exchange/Return policy (60days) is good and they swapped my defective tank with a NEW tank but that ...
Livefishdirect Fish Lottery: Buying Juvenile Peacock Cichlids
Просмотров 12 тыс.6 лет назад
Hello everyone, this vid is about my experience purchasing juvenile peacock cichlids from livefishdirect.com I wanted to buy large males as they are more colorful and vibrant than females, however, buying males can be expensive so I figured I would take a chance and buy the "unsexed" juvenile versions of the fish I wanted in an effort to maybe score some males for less $$$ instead of buying the...

BLURPLE Plastidip Aquarium!
Просмотров 15 тыс.6 лет назад
The color is BLURPLE (part# 11268-6) which is a combination of blue and purple premixed in aerosol form. Plastidip is great because the finish is strong and removable and it stops reflections off of the glass, I highly recommend it for aquariums. This is a 29gallon aquarium I setup for my loaches but I pretty much do all of my aquariums in plastidip. Hope you all enjoyed the vid!

    I am sitting here watching this video so nervously - biting my nails off . I just bought 4 small electric blue Acaras and have lodged them in the hospital tank for a while before i introduce them to my bigger tank . They seem to be jumping a lot and only swimming in a corner . One of them even jumped out . Thank goodness i saw him in time. . I have neve had these fish . I have set up the tank carefully enough . Just wondering how it would all turk out .

      @@fishn4k969 its a pleasant surprise to hear back from you. I would like your opinion though . I have multiple slightly bigger Oscars in my main aquarium. I would like to introduce these Acaras to that bigger tank . However the EBAs seem to be chasing each other a lot and seem to fight constantly even though they are barely 2.5 inches each . I worry about what would happen when I put them into the Oscar tank . Do you have any experience regarding that ? ( PS. The Oscars aren't that big and they are all quiet and peaceful)

      @fishn4k969 3 месяца назад

      @pritamdumbre7885 Hello again, so let's see. I wouldn't advise adding the EBAs into the larger tank. The Oscars will out grown the EBAs very fast and they might become dinner for them. It seems like you may have males and they're trying to establish dominance amongst themselves. Not sure but it's ultimately your call. Hope this helps.

    Thank you for the video; it was nice watching it. I just got two little blue guys, and one is growing oddly faster than the other. So, I think I will keep them separated to give the smaller the chance to put on some size. They sure are beautiful. It's a strange thing; I have never seen two fully grown Dempseys in the same tank.

    Hello! Can i use a tidal 55 for a 15 gallon? Because the tidal 35 does not have much features or the intake pipe, so i really would prefer the 55, but Im afraid even at mininum how much the flow will be. So i will be keeping a pre filter sponge/ a guard for the intake pipe, keeping it at mininum flow. With those factors considered, do you think its safe for the 55 to be on a 15.7 gallon?

    • @fishn4k969
      @fishn4k969 6 месяцев назад

      Hi, so I wouldn't recommend the Tidal 55 for your 15 gallon tank due to it's fairly high flow & suction strength. I would recommend the new Tidal 35. It would save you a little money too. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching

    • @fishn4k969
      @fishn4k969 Год назад

      Hi Jose, yes I think that you should be ok with the 4 in there as long as there aren't any other fish in there. My only concern with the 55 is that it may be too narrow for them when they become fully grown since they do get fairly big and thick. If you do plan on doing a community tank I would personally reduce the # of EBAs to 1 instead of 4. Hope this helps, and thanks for watching.

      You’re better off with a 40 breeder than the 55 long, as the 40 is deeper tank, so they have room to turn when they are adults. The 55 is just not deep enough at 12 inches
