What is an INTJ female looking for.... ENTP? ENTJ? ESTJ?
I put off making this video because it seems a little out of my realm.. Plus I did not feel completely comfortable with putting this out there. So here goes nothing!...

    I am an ENTP. I have met only one INTJ in my life, I feel like when I was at my worst, he was the only one who really listened to my problems and gave advise that actually made sense without judging me like all the other types. I can see he really likes me because I never seen anyone laughing so hard at all the mean jokes I say, but I never knew why he likes me so much, all the other RUclips videos are about why ENTPs like INTJs, not the other way around, so I'm really glad that I found this video

    This was one of the most accurate and informative videos I've seen yet on this topic. Thanks for sharing! I'm an ENTP female who is romantically involved with an INTJ. I agree fully with what you said about there being a lot of nonverbal communication, along with most other things. It's true for me that I can understand the INTJ without them having to say anything. Unfortunately, it is also true that most people don't understand this dynamic. I've been told my relationship with my INTJ is hard to understand or unusual. This is because we don't behave as most couples in society expect we would. However, neither of us care anyway since we get it and it works for us. When asked, I normally have to explain to others that there's a lot more to it than they think. I also agree with you that INTJs get thrown off when a romantic interest comes along because it wasn't part of their plan. It takes time for them to sort of recalibrate and consider this new element, but being patient with them is key during this time. As for conflicts within the INTJ/ENTP relationship, our struggles were a bit different than the ones you mentioned. Our conflicts happened more in the beginning when we were still new to this dynamic. One example would be my INTJ having trouble trusting my commitment. In the past I wasn't big on commitment with others. I think they see the pattern of the past and think it will happen again, which made sense after I thought more on it. The thing is, as an ENTP, I would never make a promise or commit to something / someone if I didn't think I could hold up my end or if I had any doubts. For me, it wasn't about being manipulative or playing mind games. I simply didn't want to restrict myself when I wasn't fully convinced of the match in the past. However, when I do choose someone to be with seriously, I do fully commit and have no problems doing so. This took a while for my INTJ to understand, so I worked on being patient with them. Getting into this dynamic was both intimidating for me and my INTJ at first because it was so different from everything else we've experienced. We bring out a level of vulnerability that we haven't experienced before because of how naturally we understand each other, and how we challenge each other in ways others simply haven't. It's both terrifying and amazing, and so worth it. Overall, the ENTP and INTJ are considered to be a golden match for a reason. They have potential to be perfect for each other, however, there are various factors which can affect their compatibility, including each individual's maturity levels.

    I relate to the SJs being way too practical. As an INTJ, I am anything but practical, especially with my wants. But also with my decision making -- I often want to just do the thing and see what happens(because how do 'I' know, until I try?), and SJs are typically super cautious and risk-averse -- they want to Si or Ti the hell out of everything, while I want to Te and Fi the hell out of everything, and then reflect with Ni(probably...?)

  • @legendzfall
    @legendzfall 4 года назад

    I like ENFP females too. I think it's the Ni/Ne juxtaposition, and the Se/Si juxtaposition. One potential source of conflict is if the Fi values of each are diametrically opposed. [INTJ]

    Thanks for the video. It's quite deep, so I will have to think about your questions. How did you discover MBTI? What is a Se loop? They say talent borrows and genius steals, so here are some quotes for you (Te at work): ''Stress is an engineering word. When you take a chunk of metal and you give it a twist. You stress it and it bends out of shape. Human beings don't bend out of shape, they spring back. When you stress people. Some people don't spring back into a good shape. Some people spring back into the same shape, more or less. Some people bounce back; actually they bounce forward. They come through adversity, in a way, giving healthy growth. Resilient people are not people who have an easy time all of their lives. Human beings are challenge seeking organisms. When we go through a challenge. If we adapt in a healthy way, we are resilient.'' (Professor David Peters - Centre of Resilience, University of Westminster, London, UK) "I've missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. Twenty-six times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed." (Michael Jordan- Basketball legend- On Failure)

    this is just music to my entp ears... i think that intjs are drawn to entps coz we actually just voice out what intjs keep to themselves... I am condescending and will express that condescension that an intj might think as well, but will not say coz u know social convention. if we entps could get inside an intjs mind, its funny and hilarious. So we get each other in such a way that you know, no judgement. An entp-intj dynamic is almost a safe space for condescension, dark wit, satire, and humor.

    At 18:50 it's not just that the behaviors don't match 🤣, it's that the behaviors are identical to the behaviors of someone who is cheating on you. INTJ are kinda naive socially in this way. To steal from comedian Dave Chapelle a bit. It's like if someone dressed up like a cop and then someone runs up to that person and says, "Officer, officer please help me! A crime has been committed!". The person dressed like the cop says, "Just because I am dressed this way it doesn't make me a officer!" INTJ women are the rarest personality type by gender. It's not rationale to assume that someone won't mistake your ways for what like 95% of women on the planet do. So what are the solutions? Walk them through days in your life. Let them see you not giving a dam about most phone calls, let them see you working feverishly on your projects and excluding "normal" stuff. Spending time with you on lazy days where you do your own thing and where you explain to them that you love that they do their own thing to, and synch up the "do your own thing" times with them verbally and kindly. Like if he is playing a video game and you are reading a book, if he is researching something while you are working on something from your job. Once he sees how you normally are in your natural habitat AND you explain to him what's going on, assuming he is not a dumbass, he should understand "Ohhhh, she does things differently..." On scheduling events, let them know you get overwhelmed and drained. Let them them know you want to spend time with them but you need them to reign it in a bit and focus on the things that are most important to them and for those events you will be there for them.

    Most people switch majors, on avg 3 or 4 times within the first 4 years of college. At least those were the statistics back when I was going to University. 😄 I don't know if there is anything I can say to stop you from trying to be perfect or doing things perfectly. I just want you to consider not grinding yourself to dust mentally. When I was in college I was working a full-time job on the night shift, doing independent research on the side under the mentorship of a professor in order to present said research at a Psychological conversation, and trying to maintain a relationship with a girlfriend who didn't understand how overworked I was. Not to mention having to commute by bus and relying on my parents support/tyranny to a heavy degree. I am not lying when I say some weeks I would go without sleep for two days straight. It made me perpetualy miserable and crushingly depressed. I would wake up feeling overwhelmed and wanting the world to stop turning. It made that year in college a blur in my mind. I can only recall being tired and depressed. But I survived it nonetheless. You don't have to be perfect, you don't have to do everything, and you are not responsible for knowing everything. You are a good person, you deserve to be happy, and you deserve to enjoy yourself. Tommorow is not guaranteed, so toss in a bit of what you want right now. Indulge yourself, give yourself time and premission. Lastly, give yourself a 8 hour sleep schedule. Your brain will thank you. You will survive these hardships and it will get easier.
