Completely agree mate, I also had to get used to it a lot, they recommend to not use it from 1st to 2nd gear and also say to make sure you’re above 6K RPM!

It surprise me as well mate! Mine was making 191 Wheel horse power before the tune, simply from the full exhaust system

Yeah my gixxer made 202.3 on crispys dyno but 185 on another one. Crispy is great though really nice guy that's very knowledgeable

Thanks very much mate! To be honest it was quite fiddly to get the carbon shield on, it will go, just angle it right and tighten it whilst holding in desired place. And yes what a great point mate, I also hate that large gap the cat leaves! I’m looking at an aftermarket belly pan to sort this 😎

I unfortunately don’t anymore bro! I sold it. I miss it of course. Mine was mechanically perfect, never any issues apart from bad tuning which I had fixed in the end. You will not regret buying one. 🔥🔥

I should add mate, when you’re looking around: Ask the owner if the injectors have been revised. This is a common issue with the 8P as they have plastic baskets & filters in the injectors as standard. You’ll want to get them refurbished, using stainless steel components instead. Or upgrade to the 8V indicators (however this way is more expensive). The stock injectors can cause issues

Hi mate, unfortunately bro I don’t have that answer. The new owner ended up putting a MK2 focus RS engine in it. Which is obviously awesome to hear, but unfortunately still left me wondering what the diagnosis of my engine was. 😣

@AutoBay nah that fine mate, I am having a similar issue, the oil cap is bit milky, no coolant loss, white smoke one day,, then nothing for a week, but a weird missfire sound from engine on start up, but not always... and I've lost some boost. Thinking of selling it just incase

It should be universal mate. The extra brackets within the kit allows you to use any plate depending on where your screw holes are 👍🏼

@@AutoBay They are known for their quality and have a good reputation. I’m still happy with the result, but was just I but annoyed to put the rusty fixings back in. They are easy to see. I’m selling the bike soon so no big deal

Whilst I owned this bike it was always slightly on the small side 🤣 however I’ve got a much bigger bike now which is a much better fit 🤣. No problem mate!
